Once Upon a Time Wizard Joins American GothicMerlin from Once Upon a Time has been added a series regular in an upcoming CBS summer series. According to The Hollywood Reporter, actor Elliot Knight has joined the new CBS series American Gothic. Knight will play Brady the husband to character Tessa who has already been cast as Megan Ketch. Brady is described as honest and solid, a cop who has just been promoted to detective. Brady will be investigating a cold case during the course of season 1 and will have the sinking feeling that his wife is keeping information from him.Once Upon a Time Alums Join New Freeform ShowOnce Upon a Time co-creators Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis are pulling actresses from their past for their new Freeform series. According to Deadline, Elizabeth Mitchell and Elizabeth Lail have been cast in Dead of Summer. Lail and Mitchell were apart of the Frozen arc of Once Upon a Time and played Anna and Ingrid, respectively. Lail will be playing the lead of Dead of Summer, Amy, a clever but nervous new camp counselor. Meanwhile Mitchell will be the new owner of the camp, Camp Clearwater. As you can tell from the characters’ occupations Dead of Summer takes place at a summer camp. The series is described as a part coming-of-age story and part supernatural horror...
