Obviously they don’t want to cancel too many dramas.
The rumours Adam is talking about is not about ending the show in season 5, are some rumours that according to some people that saw JMo at a film festival where she presented her short movie, on the interview part, she said that probably Season 6 will be the last, what made many fans tweet adam about it,so what adam is saying about the rumours is that they dont intend to end the show on season 6, meaning they expect to have many more seasons.

ParticipantThat’s stupid. She just estimated that the series will end after season 6, which is a good guess according to ratings. Last year Jane espenson estimated 7 seasons (I honestly don’t see that happen). Adam just tries to calm down crazy fans who likes to freak out about everything. It’s not his decision when to end the show, it’s abc’s. People just need to accept that OUAT is closer to the end and that happens, no show lasts forever (except fron Grey’s Anatomy) and after OUAT ends, people will continue with their lives and will find another show to freak about.

KeymasterThe question for me is no longer are we getting a season 6, it’s how much of a season 6 are we getting. I think we’ll get a full order, unless S5B totally goes down hill, but I’m not sure if that will happen.
Also, any predictions for tonight? I’m going with a 1.6 for episode 505

It’s a veteran show, so I expect any final Season to be a full 22 episodes. Even if it doesn’t get the ratings it used to, the show has a lot of history with the network and the fandom itself is still fairly large and active. When I was at New York Comic Con a few weeks ago, OUAT was in the 2nd biggest panel room of the entire convention, and it ended up being a full house. We could get a shorter final Season if the writers would specifically want one, like what happened with LOST.

KeymasterFirst numbers and analysis are in for episode 505 “Dreamcatcher”
Once Upon a Time” (#4: 3.2/ 5 at 8 p.m.), which year-to-year slipped by 24 percent.
Steady as she goes, most likely.

ModeratorInterestingly enough, that 3.2/5 is higher than last week’s 3.1/5. But I expect the actual demo rating to remain a 1.6. If so, then my theory about the majority of remaining viewers being the dedicated ones is looking more and more likely.

ModeratorDemos for “Dreamcatcher” are in! As expected, we remain flat at a 1.6, and we actually went up in totals to 5.04 viewers. Quantico also lowered to a 1.5, meaning that OUAT is back to being ABC’s number 1 scripted show for this Sunday.
