Final ratings update for “Nimue.” For the first time this Season, we actually increased our demo for the final same day ratings adjustments. “Nimue” is now at a 1.6 demo and 4.88 total viewers:

Jane posted this chart, which I find rather interesting to look at:

Wicked City got a 0.4 last night. Lord, I don’t think I’ve seen any ABC premiere do THAT bad before. Even “Lucky 7”, which was another bomb a few years back, got pulled off the air after 2 weeks when it got a 0.7. This article puts into perspective how embarrassing of a flop Wicked City is for ABC:

As noted before, no network has actually yanked a failing show off the schedule yet this Season. Wicked City very well might be the first show pulled entirely.

WOW
That’s….bad. Like really bad.
Wicked City is not only cancelled, but marks the first 2015-2016 series to get pulled off the air altogether. To the surprise of no one, considering how rancid those ratings were. No way ABC was going to justify a 0.4:

Don’t be surprised if we see our demo go down a little for tonight’s OUAT, since they’ll be factoring both 508 and 509 together as one rating. I’m predicting a 1.5, or a 1.4 at the very least.
JUST wondering … do they consider DVD sales in the determination of keeping a show on lines… I am thinking all the ONCERS by the BLUE RAY & DVDs. Those that can not watch via streaming or on line probably add the dvds to their collection.

Same. Plus…TWD.

It’s not a major factor, no. And not all Oncers buy the DVDs. I don’t, for example. The biggest factor is live viewers because that’s where the money is. DVD sales *help* but not all 5 million people are spending $40 to buy the DVDs and even then the ad buyers don’t care because their commercials aren’t shown on DVDs
