It’s also worth noting that it’s the highest rating ABC has had in the Sunday 9pm slot since the fall season begun. The highest that Blood & Oil has rated is 1.4 – and that was the pilot. I’d imagine that ABC would be thrilled with a 1.6 from ONCE in that slot!
Current predictions from TVGrimReaper and TVByTheNumbers:

FOX claims that it will no longer be using Live+Same Day ratings:
Interesting to see where this goes.
Looks like the TVGrimReaper is claiming FOX’s statement to be nonsense. Is the Reaper really right, or does he refuse to acknowledge any possible changes in the times? We shall see:

Oh fascinating. I had heard about the Fox news but not Reaper’s tweets. Hm. We must keep an eye on this.
According to TVByTheNumbers, OUAT is ABC’s 2nd most consistently rated show of the Fall:
First analysis is in for 5×10 “Broken Heart”
and original installments of “Once Upon a Time” (#3: 2.7/ 4)

Demos up in a bit, but most likely…steady as she goes, once more
And we finally dropped quite a bit last night. Last night did a 1.3 demo and 4.32 million viewers. It was still the number 1 non-sports demo, despite that low number. A couple of possible factors:
1) Viewers were turned off by 508 and/or 509.
2) It was the end of the Thanksgiving weekend, so some viewers may not have been home quite yet.
The Reaper still thinks OUAT is safe, for now though:
#OUAT ratings (1.3) hit a season low, cheering the anti-fans, but it’s still likely to be renewed.

Starting in January, Nielsen is updating its sample size to 100,000 people in 40,000 homes from 25,000 homes:

It’ll be interesting to see how this effects ratings across the board.
