Well we always go up in Live+3 and Live +7. That’s nothing new.
But Live +Next Day coming up has been rare for awhile now.

ParticipantIt was a decent episode this week as was last week’s. Next week’s kind of feels like it’s going to be filler.
I wonder if, during the writing of season 6, A&E will look back at the ratings for season 5 and see which episodes got higher ratings and what those episodes consisted of. Since Hook’s episode got the lowest rating of season 5 and the entire series so far, hopefully the writers may start to realise that Hook isn’t the be all and end all of Once.
Out of interest, in the entirety of season 5 so far where does Her Handsome Hero and Our Decay rank in terms of demos?

To be fair, 515 aired on Easter, where everything was lower, so I wouldn’t use that episode as a basis for anything. ABC even said that all of their Easter Sunday programming are being labeled under “special”, and won’t be factored into the Seasonal averages. If it had aired on a normal night, chances are it would have gotten a 1.1 just like 514 and 516 did.

Low for the entirety of S5 because we started with a 1.7. Those two episode still only got a 1.1 and a 1.2 while we stayed steady and then did the trickle down from the beginning. So it’s not like they rank higher than anything that came before (except 5×17 did increase above the episodes right before)

KeymasterAnyone want to predict numbers for tomorrow’s 5×18?
Last week we actually adjusted up to a 1.2; I’m gonna say that we’ll either hold steady or dip slightly (the weather in huge parts of the world is lovely right now and people may stay out while the sun is still up or just going down)
RG’s prediction: 1.1

I’d say a 1.1 as well, perhaps maybe dipping to a 1.0
I say that because this episode looks to be primarily a Mulan/Red/Dorothy episode and because it’s been so long since we last saw them in an episode that didn’t have much relevance to the overall arc, interest in those particular characters isn’t sky high. They missed the opportunity with Mulan and Red in season 3 and nobody really cares about Dorothy enough to be invested in her well-being.
