But seriously, do u guys think A&E are ever gonna remember to let those people out.
No.
[adrotate group="5"]"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"May 16, 2016 at 11:10 am #323891thedarkonedearieParticipantFavorite Episode- Tie between Sisters, Souls of the Departed, and Our Decay.
Least Favorite Episode- Ruby Slippers
Hades and Underworld- Greg Germann was great! Hades was cool. But no flashback and no clear motivations killed it in the end. The underworld was cool and allowed us to see some familiar faces, but there were a lot of complications about what it actually was.
Favorite moment- Zelena, Regina, and Cora reuniting. Close second was Henry meeting Henry Sr.
Least Favorite Moment- Ehh, too many to count. Probably just all the convenient plot points.
Returning Characters- Wish we saw Graham. Glad we saw Neal, Cruella, Blind Witch, and Henry Sr.
– Looking Forward to: Finding out what Hyde wants. How Rumple plans to wake Belle. Will more characters get split up like Regina (I hope so, so we can see Rumple in full form again).
Overall: B
– Best since 3A.
May 16, 2016 at 6:18 pm #323948PriceofMagicParticipant1) What was your favorite episode of S5B?
Her handsome Hero- I liked that we got to see RumBelle squabbling like an old married couple. It’s a shame that Belle and the ship get pushed to the side because the writers need Rumple to be a villain and he can’t do that if Belle is in a scene with him.
2) What was your least favorite episode of S5B?
Ruby Slippers- It was a waste of time. Its only purpose was to throw an LGBT relationship at the fandom to keep them quiet but it wasn’t even a good one. The episode wasted time on characters we didn’t care about or had got past caring about. It was unsatisfying.
Runners up:
Last Rites- It was an unsatisfying conclusion to the Underworld arc. Zeus was such a plot device, they killed off Robin unnecessarily and bringing Hook back but leaving Robin dead was salt in the wound.
3) What did you think of Hades and the Underworld?
I liked Hades and would rank him as one of the most entertaining and decent villains to date. I was sad to see him go and would’ve liked him to have joined the regular cast. His chemistry with Zelena was off the charts.
4) What was your favorite and least favorite moment?
Least favourite is easily CS making out at Robin’s funeral when the coffin was right there and not even in the ground (the implications of what happened after that scene ended are even worse). I thought it very inappropriate given the setting.
Runner up: Every scene involving Henry in the two part finale. He was such a brat.
Favourite moment: I guess the Zades bike ride. The chemistry between the two of them was electric and I was shipping it from that moment on. That’s how you write a ship.
5) We had a lot of old favorite (and least favorite) characters return this arc; which character did you most like seeing? Who do you wish we saw?
I guess Cruella was the character I most liked seeing because she’s always entertaining.
The character I wish we saw was Felix because we hardly know anything about him. I wished we could’ve seen him confront Pan about killing him.
6) Thing you’re most looking forward to in S6?
RumBelle, Hyde, Regina, WickedSisters.
7) Overall grade and final thoughts on S5B?
[/quote]B
Definitely one of the better arcs since 3A. I would actually rate it slightly higher than 3A because we could actually see what was going on at all times.
All magic comes with a price!
Keeper of FelixMay 16, 2016 at 8:20 pm #323966CorbinParticipant1) What was your favorite episode of S5B?
This will probably have to go to “Firebird.” Emma has always been the main character of the show, and while the writers might like to throw Regina in our faces as much as they’d like (this is coming from someone who loves Regina and her character arc), I still am invested in Emma’s story. So to see her as an adult but pre-Henry, an era we see very rarely, was really cool. Yeah, I didn’t like the modern day portions, but I thought the flashbacks more than made up for it.
Runner-ups: “Souls of the Departed,” due to the celebratory feel of Once’s 100th episode, “Only You/An Untold Story,” which gave a different, more uplifting feel than we’ve seen this season, and “Devil’s Due,” which added some much-needed depth to the mess that is Rumple’s story.
2) What was your least favorite episode of S5B?
I’m going to go against the fray and name “Our Decay” as my least favorite. We’ve seen exceptional episodes of television on this show (“Going Home,” “Skin Deep,” “A Land Without Magic”), so to see an episode that portrays all the faults of what this show has become annoys me. While Zelena has surprised me with how enjoyable she is and Hades is the best villain since Pan, their romance was ridiculous. Dorothy was unnecessary and, to be frank, blandly portrayed. Sending a message to a baby? A baby that probably forgot what his parents look like since they’re always away from him?!?! While the episode had its moments (“This could be our decay.”), it was bad.
Runner-ups: “The Brothers Jones,” which was just FILLED with terrible messages, and “Last Rites,” another episode where the show reaches at its most ridiculous impulses.
3) What did you think of Hades and the Underworld?
I liked Hades! He brought a breath of fresh air (or, rather, fire) to the show, something we needed after the attempt at, well, some kind of legend in 5A (like, I still don’t know what they tried to accomplish there. Everyone ended up where they started!). The Underworld was a cool place, even if it did seem to get a bit boring as time went on. The twists on roles (Blind Witch at Granny’s, James as Sheriff) were probably its saving grace, as we got to really see what a “hellish” version of Storybrooke would be.
4) What was your favorite and least favorite moment? [\quote]
Favorite: Regina’s scene with Emma in Neal’s apartment, by far. These two have had amazing chemistry since the pilot, a chemistry that has only increased over time. So to see Regina being so raw, so vulnerable to someone she’s gone from hating to tolerating to caring about was just great. Hearing her sentiments about how hard it is to control the darkness and how much she wants to give in was just superb writing and acting. Props to Lana, JMo, and, surprisingly, the writers.
I also loved the scene between Cora and Zelena at her house. It took a while to get here, but I think it was worth the wait.
Least favorite: Can we get rid of the Charmings v. Evil Queen flashbacks? They’ve become annoying, unnecessary, and entirely irrelevant. Oh, and of course Robin’s death. As I’ve said, for a show that prides itself on its strong women, they have multiple examples of misogyny. This just added to that list.
5) We had a lot of old favorite (and least favorite) characters return this arc; which character did you most like seeing? Who do you wish we saw?
I’ve always loved Neal as a character, so to see him again in such a great scene made me pretty happy. Pan and Cora, my favorite villains, were a great treat too.
While the return of Ruby brought back the wonderful Meghan Ory, she served no purpose! She deserved a storyline, not to be a tool for the writers to check “LGBT” off their list. At least her return brought back a nice scene with Snow (and, in turn, a great scene at the cemetery between Snow and Charming).
6) Thing you’re most looking forward to in S6?
I’m really hoping they talk about the new books Henry found, since I thought that was a bit convenient that, suddenly, there isn’t only one copy of the book! Issac had his own publishing company! And he wrote a sequel!
7) Overall grade and final thoughts on S5B?
Definitely an improvement over 5A, though not quite my favorite since 3A. I thought it came together nicely, even if it took some lags and stalls to get there. Is the show what it once was? No. Does it have a chance to get there? Probably not. But that shouldn’t prevent it from being good at what it is now. That’s what I’m looking forward to, so we’ll see where it leads.
My arc rankings:
3A, S1, 4B, 5B, 3B, 2A (Emma/Snow in EF), 2B (GOAT/Cora/Neverland), with 4A and 5A tied.

S4B (This is my least favorite, because the character assassination of Snowing was beyond ridiculous. The Queens of Darkness were also a huge letdown, as they were poorly developed and overcrowded. Not even Cruella or Isaac could save this arc.)May 17, 2016 at 4:54 am #324007sciencevsmagicParticipantArc rankings:
S2A – The most fun arc for me. Loved Snow/Emma in the EF, loved the new characters (Hook, Milah, Cora, Mulan, Aurora), had a nice pace and blend of magic/reality.
S1 – Original, captivating and contained many great episodes. But it did drag a bit, especially with the whole MM/David/Kathryn triangle. The framing of MM for murder was also very obvious.
S2B – Contained some good episodes but fell away after 2A. It felt like they didn’t quite know what direction to go in after Cora died.
S3A – Well planned arc, interesting story and captivating villain in Pan. I missed Storybrooke and the perpetual darkness got to me, but I did enjoy this arc.
S4A – Solid. No character development and plot inconsistencies were starting to get worse, but not bad either.
S3B – Just didn’t interest me that much. I couldn’t get into Zelena and the Oz flashbacks.
S4B – Boring. The queens of darkness didn’t interest me and the author storyline got messy.
S5A/S5B – Boring, annoying at times with hardly any episodes I’d rate as ‘good’. The plot was hopelessly inconsistent, the characters were butchered and the messages coming out of S5 were mixed and at times, outright distasteful.

May 17, 2016 at 7:18 am #324009Bar FarerParticipant>1) What was your favorite episode of S5B?
Only You/An Untold Story, but can we really say they were in the same arc. Souls of the Departed was fine as well.2) What was your least favorite episode of S5B?
Brothers Jones, Firebird
3) What did you think of Hades and the Underworld
Not good. Hades could have been interesting, but his motivation constantly changed so I had no idea what he really wanted or what his goal was – was it to not have hope in the UW?, was it to beat Hook?, to make everyone stuck?, which isn’t aligned with wanting Regina gone at the beginning?, was it to to hurt his brother with time travel? Was it to find TLK with Zelena? Was it to rule SB?!? I still don’t understand why did it bother Emma to be with Hook in UW? Why is it so different than SB? What are the stakes?4) What was your favorite and least favorite moment?
Favorite moment – Neal, Henry sr, David and Henry, a lot in the finale.
Least favorite moment – everything involving Hook or Zelena.
5) We had a lot of old favorite (and least favorite) characters return this arc; which character did you most like seeing? Who do you wish we saw?
No one.
6) Thing you’re most looking forward to in S6?
I want them to lose all distractions – ships, Disney, pointless characters, pointless adventires and concentrate on family dynamics.
>7) Overall grade and final thoughts on S5B?
I didn’t like this season, it might have been better than 3B,4B and 5A but I still think it was a huge mess. A lot of side plots amounted to nothing (Author Henry?!?) So what was the point in doing them?, also nothing in terms of characters development.</p>"All your questions are pointless"
