The Catch is one of those shows that really didn’t deserve a renewal, and probably would have been cancelled last Season had it not been a Shonda show. But I guess if The Catch Season 2 drops enough, ABC won’t be able to justify another renewal. Especially when they have another Shonda show, Black’s Law, currently in development. ABC’s current dilemma with TGIT is that only the original trio of Grey’s/Scandal/HTGAWM is working. The Catch is still failing to serve as HTGAWM’s placeholder, and Notorious failed as Scandal’s placeholder this past Fall.
When a studio is trying to make a cost cutting deal happen, the reaper assumes they will succeed.#OUAT prediction going > 50% Monday.

Anyone want to guess the ratings for tomorrow’s episode 6×12?
We tend to say steady for an episode or two so I’ll guess a .9 in the demo, the same as last week.

Agreed. If not, we’ll only drop to a 0.8, but still leaning towards 0.9.
We still do not have ratings for episode 6×12 “Murder Most Foul” because of a power outtage at Neilsen (yes, really). But in the meantime, the TV Grim Reaper has upped OUAT’s chances of renewal from 50% to 55%. This is due to the news over the weekend that several cast members are in negotiations.
I think the delay has to do with the fact that yesterday was the first day for DST.

No, there was literally a power outtage.
There was a power outage early early Sunday morning in Nielsen’s Global Technology and Innovation Center in Oldsmar, Florida that looks to be the cause. I hear that the power is now back on at the facility near Tampa. I also hear that data collection itself was not impacted, the measurement company’s systems have to be rebooted to eventually pump those primetime ratings

Is that a real increase? I thought the Reaper was just getting rid of the 50% rating:
After Riverdale was renewed last week while the reaper was holding it at a “50% renewal” prediction (earning the reaper his second “draw” prediction of the season), he’s eliminated all his “50% renewal” predictions. He doesn’t want to take another “draw” while he’s “waiting”.

Oh maybe. Though he did say in a tweet (quoted above) that’d he’d increase OUATs rate on Monday because of the contract news. I guess the 55% isn’t the new increase so much as the 50% replacement. He’ll update it when ratings for 6×12 come out–tomorrow at this point.
An update:
Ratings are still delayed for both Sunday and Monday due to an power outage at Nielsen's data centre. Will post ASAP when they are released
