As someone who adores the show…sad
I wonder if ABC would cancel it after 3 years. It’s such a big part of TGIT, with Grey’s and Scandal–so much so that taking Scandal out of the equation this fall led ABC to stop calling it TGIT altogether. If Star Crossed does well in the spring (the newest Shonda show) they might move it to Thursday with a full season; though…gotta wonder how that’ll affect scheduled times for Grey’s and Scandal. Is Still Star Crossed a 10 pm show??
ETA: it took me a few mins to remember why the spring ABC Thursday line is still called TGIT, but it’s because of The Catch which likewise flies under the Shondaland banner. Where does it fit into the spring lineup?
From what I recall, TGIT’s spring lineup will be the same as last spring’s: Grey’s, Scandal and The Catch. Still Star Crossed is currently TBD. My guess is Still Star Crossed is on hold, in the event that Conviction or another show bombs.

2015 ad rate: $155,596
2016: $109,410
That is a loss of 30% in ad shares

Marvel’s AoS saw a -20% decrease
Grey’s Anatomy saw a +23% increase (not shocking at all)
HTGAWM saw a -30% decrease
Quantico saw a -12% decrease
Scandal does not have a number because it’s not airing in the fall of 2016 though the ratings have been in a bit of a decline so it’s either a decrease as well or it’ll be only a small increase. ABC is suffering all around.
Dancing with the Stars only saw an 8% increase
The Middle is -12% down
Fresh Off the Boat is down -16%
The Goldbergs actually increased to +5%
Modern Family is actually -6% (that’s a bit of a shock)
Black-ish is down -11%
The biggest deceases, however, are OUAT, HTGAWM, and AoS

The network, as I pointed out above, is in sorry shape all around and if the new dramas go bottom up–like Notorious is certain to do looking at its sad state already–then OUAT will seem like a safe option.

The Reaper is still predicting we’re “likely to be renewed” (four smiley faces), probably because of the other ABC shows that are not fairing so well and the average for ABC are still high.
