It sounds like Henry is cursed. But maybe he’s only cursed in the sense that he can’t remember Cinderella 2.0 and Lucy and AnotherRealm!EF ?
I think there is an article where they hint that Hnery is cursed about everything, i mean if was only about everything past SB, he would know something is up, once he saw Regina, Gold and Hook in HH.

That’s what I gather. He’s cursed, but he still retains part of his original persona, including his name. That’s why he still goes by Henry Mills, when Lucy knocks on his door in Seattle. It’s like when Henry was cursed with fake memories during the missing year in Season 3, when he was living in NYC with Emma.

this is the thIng I wonder if they are not doing, his name is still Henry mills but all his past of Sb is also gone and he has fake memories, that like he was adopted by the mills, but in his memories his adoptive mom looks different from Regina, in that way he would be cursed like s3 with no memory from Sb and everyone else.

But why? Why would Henry still have his name if he is cursed? Is that because the writers of the show think the audience is stupid, like with the whole Snow and Mary Margaret thing that went on for too long. If Lady Tremaine or some other villain cast the curse, why would they have Henry keep his name and no one else? Do they think that the audience won’t get that it is Henry unless that is still his name or is there some reason. Maybe to do with Henry being the author? Maybe when someone hears Henry’s name they will regain their memories just like Rumpel regained his when he heard Emma’s name? Maybe Henry did something to the curse, so he could keep his name, so that Lucy could find him? I think there needs to be a reason.
Henry is clearly in some way cursed if he doesn’t know who Hook and Regina are, as well as Lucy and Cinderella.
Why doesn’t Henry have a cursed name?
Because he never has a Cursed name. Even when it makes no sense for his name to be Henry (because Regina named him after her father), his name is still Henry (3B; Wish Realm).
That made sense though because Regina did that to Henry. There needs to be a reason for it this time. More then just the writers think the audience is stupid.
Emma got to escape Pan’s dark curse in S3 because she was the savior. Maybe Henry escaped the dark curse because he’s the author. So he doesn’t have a fake identity. However, maybe he lost his memories still and Regina blessed him with good memories the way she did back in 3×11 “Going Home.” It’s either that or Henry took away his own memories via a memory-erasing potion in an attempt to forget everything the way Snow White did to forget Prince Charming in season 1.
