Not much of a surprise here but it seems like ABC has officially cancelled Inhumans. No press release has gone out yet (and honestly, I doubt that one will) but they have completely removed it from the press site.

Yeah, not surprising. So ABC is now down two new dramas–Inhumans and 10 Days in the Valley–and is losing one of their veteran shows that also serves as a flagship for their brand–Scandal. We’re a true bubble show (even at a .5!) but if ABC thinks they can squeeze just a little more money out of OUAT while it’s trying to rebrand itself in light of Scandal’s loss and The Good Doctor’s (marginal) triumph, they will. Put OUAT and AoS on the same night and they can keep their Sci-Fi/Fantasy Friday night linuep.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"January 21, 2018 at 10:45 am #345370hjbauParticipantThat is the issue. ABC doesn’t have a lot going for it and is losing a lot of shows. Though if Robert and Lana want to go, I would say they are done. Though, they continued after losing Jennifer and Ginny, so they clearly don’t care about the integrity of their story at all. That has been true since Season 3 though, so it really is just about money at this point.
At least with Scandal they know when to stop and Grey’s will never exist without Meredith.
February 12, 2018 at 4:01 pm #345547Vader12ParticipantThe only way that I can see OuaT getting an 8th season now is if it gets moved to Disney’s streaming platform that’s launching next year. There’s no way that ABC will renew it television.
I think that is a great idea. Since ABC seems to have canceled the show, most likely it might be possible for the show to continue on the streaming service, along with Agents of Shield. You never know.
February 12, 2018 at 4:23 pm #345549Vader12ParticipantI think that’s a terrible move. Because I will proudly don my eyepatch and peg leg to watch OUAT if it happens. (Its a piracy joke, for those who don’t get it). Sorry, I love OUAT, and I love Disney, but I’m not paying for ANOTHER streaming service just to have access to it. Ive said this Disney streaming service was a bad idea when I first heard about it. Just buy Netflix, Disney >_> you guys keep buying everything else.
Only a bad idea to you, but not everyone. I’ll give it a chance, especially for a new upcoming Star Wars show. Buying Netflix? From what is happening now, not likely going to happen.
February 12, 2018 at 4:26 pm #345550Vader12ParticipantHonestly I don’t think I can see them renewing it for that platform either. I think ABC knows it’s time to call it an end and start with new content.
Yeah, I can see them moving it to a new platform. The new streaming service Remember, when a show was canceled, it sometimes can get renewed in another network. Yes, it could even happen to that one.
March 3, 2018 at 11:10 am #345721RumplesGirlKeymasterEven though they don’t really matter that much anymore, ratings are in for episode 7×11 “Secret Garden”
Eyeballs: 2.2o million
Demo: .4
That is a new series low for the show.

The unroundeds for last night:
Once Upon a Time …………… 0.449
Agents of SHIELD ……………. 0.536
20/20 ……………………………… 0.541MacGyver ……………………….. 0.807
Hawaii Five-0 …………………… 0.904
Blue Bloods …………………….. 0.912Blindspot ………………………… 0.657
Taken …………………………….. 0.471
Dateline ………………………….. 0.623MasterChef Junior …………… 0.951
MasterChef Junior …………… 0.917Izombie (r) ……………………… 0.176
Jane the Virgin ……………….. 0.21518-49 viewing levels (22.2)
We were actually very close to a 0.5, but just barely missed. But that means we could adjust up to a 0.5 for the finals. I also find it weird that OUAT had more total viewers than AoS, but AoS grew in the demo.

As an update, we did not rise to a .5 in the finals.
.4 remains the rating for 7×11 and our new series low.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"March 10, 2018 at 2:14 pm #345846MatthewPaulModeratorWe inched back up to a 0.5:
Once Upon a Time … 0.533
Agents of SHIELD … 0.568
20/20 … 0.613MacGyver … 0.909
Hawaii Five-0 … 0.946
Blue Bloods …0.954Blindspot … 0.643
Taken … 0.505
NBC News special … 0.494MasterChef Junior … 0.178
9-1-1 (r) … 0.465Dynasty … 0.178

There were preemptions last night because of college basketball, but I think we’ll still keep our 0.5, based on these unroundeds.
