She can only promise one because that’s what she knows so far.
She can only promise us one for sure because she only agreed to one episode. Her contract was up and she decided to leave and not renew it. She chose to leave the show. I agree she could chose to do more, but currently, she chose to not be apart of OUAT anymore should it continue even when given the option to do so. JMO only agreed to one episode. We dont know if its the premiere or not, do we?
The way you are wording this is very odd
I have no idea why you are projecting all these things either.

They invited her to be part of the season and she said no, so they aren’t letting her go to save money. They wanted to keep her and were willing to spend the money and she said no. She has talked about wanting creative control over her work in multiple interviews. She has talked about wanting to direct in multiple interviews. All we know about her possibly returning is that she has agreed to do one episode, she thinks it could be the premiere, but she doesn’t know, and it is just one episode because she wants to do other things, be with her family, not be in Vancouver, and direct.
Jennifer cares about the show continuing because some of her friends want to still be part of it. She doesn’t want it to die if it means them losing their work. Why would anyone who actually knows the cast and crew as people and cares about them as real people want that? That doesn’t mean that she isn’t ready to move on and that she is done. Is it impossible that she might return for one scene in another episode? It isn’t impossible, but that is complete speculation at this point. The facts are she has agreed to one episode and that is it.
I think that Jennifer’s interview sounds very similar to the guy that played Will Scarlet where she felt disconnected from her life and that she needs something challenging and engaging creatively which means to me she wasn’t finding that on OUAT. She also talks about OUAT in a very superficial way and has done so for seasons except right before the dark one arc where she talked about her research for that arc on substance abuse and that ended up going nowhere.

Bc let`s be honest, they are not the best writers , but no way they would do a 2 hours season finale to find Emma, then they find her and on s7 premiere some characters disapear again, and is again a full season of trying to find them, with the agravant they will only see a part of the search, not the side of the people missing, only to find them at the series or seaosn finale and viewers will be like where were they, without answers.

I agree she clearly wants to move on to do different things but I haven’t seen anything where what she says can come off as a slight to OUAT. If saying the character of Emma Swan is her favorite character she’s ever played and is very special to her and saying that she loves A&E’s writing and what they do to constantly reinvent the show is talking about the show in a “superficial way” than ok…….but I just don’t think it is. To compare her to the actor who played Will Scarlet, someone who was told he would be used and then was barely used on OUAT, seems silly to me.

That’s just seasons are always set up. So that suggests jmo and the others will be back for more episodes.
I completely see JMO returning for the series finale. I don’t think the only time we will see Emma is the season premiere.
I also think people thinking she’s gonna die are in for a rude awakening. No way is that gonna eh the way to reboot the show. You honestly think people will stick around if Emma does in the season premiere? It would be suiciald for the reboot, it’ll be dead before it even begins.
Either Emma is going to pass the torch to the girl or new guy, she’s gonna get cursed along with everyone else and the season will be about saving her or she will announce she’s prego in the premiere and then she’s taken off screen from then on out after passing the torch.
I don’t think the premiere is the only time we will see Emma.
Then again I don’t think we are getting a a S7. Of the fact that Afam has gone completely silent on Twitter not even giving script teases. That’s very strange.
CS nor Emma will be damaged in S7. Of that I’m certain, they’re not gonna throw away 5 years for a final 13 episodes.

Well, that is fine. I don’t think it is silly. Someone who talks about their work in an articulate way no longer doing so means something. Jennifer cares if the show continues because her friends care about that. It is their job. I don’t think it means that she finds it interesting because if she did she would stay. She no longer finds the show interesting so she is leaving. She said she didn’t know how she would feel until she was asked back and the moment she was asked she had a strong feeling about what she was going to do and we know that strong feeling was that she was ready to go.
I don’t agree with the idea that she is just going to be willing to pop back in whenever to be in episodes all the time in the future.
Though, i have a hard time imagining the spending a season finding Emma. I am not suggesting something like that either.

Or the new revamped OUAT may have absolutely nothing to do with Emma as she wont be the main character anymore.
If its about a new cast of fairytale characters like Wonderland was or like the descendants, it could be about their children.
Angel wasn’t about finding Buffy.
