I think a lot of us would argue that it hasn’t been working as well as it could have. Shipping nonsense aside there’s been a distinct “less than” quality to the seasons.

If there’s a S7 the one episode JMO is committed too is the season premiere. I think that indicates that either Emma is passing the savior torch to Andrew’s character or they’re gonna pull a TVD on Emma and then S7 will be about the journey to save Emma.
Or the little girl character.
That too, but I don’t see her dying. If the premiere sets up the season talk about a way to turn off your audience within one episode. They could Dobrev her character though and any other.
I think ATM JMO has only agreed to one episode but who knows what can happen when they start filming.
Though TBH I think S7 is the last and it’s only gonna be 13 episodes. Maybe JMO will appear in more than one but as of now that’s all she can promise.
If ABC loses the bid for AI, then OUAT might be a full season out of necessity. If they win the AI bid, then OUAT will be 11-13 episode final season.

Yeah. If it’s renewed, I’m expecting the ratings to be so bad that I wouldn’t be surprised if ABC end up pulling it before the season manages to end.
