I was reading up on the latest spoilers and i got to thinking how I think it’s going to end up. I think that i read that somebody thought rumple will sacrifice his power by giving it to pan. however, I think that the major plot twist will be with Regina. I think that she will become the next dark one. She will turn green and she will become the wicked witch and that will move us into Oz. Emma will be the Good witch in their eventual take on Oz. This all seems logical based on the magic training between regina and Emma, the fact that Regina uses anger and hatred while Emma uses love and hope to use magic, and the fact that the DO curse turned Rumples skin the way it did, it would make perfect sense for Regina to become the wicked witch as they wanted to explore Oz for season 4
[adrotate group="5"]That’s certainly a big twist! I love the Oz idea though I’m not sure if Regina would go dark again. I think her redemption arc is in full swing and while it might be bumpy I think the past few episodes have shown that Emma and Regina are trying to work together.
But I am all for going to Oz!

What if Zoso was the Wizard and instead of having Dorothy melt her with water, he got her squid ink to neutralize the witch, who was a previous Dark One. Then he came, took her dagger, and stabbed her, killed her, became the next dark one and left Oz only to find himself enslaved somehow and of course tricked Rumpel into killling him, etc…

Blue Fairy enchanted a dagger so that he could be killed. However, Chernabog was so evil that his evilness couldn’t be fully destroyed, it was contained in the dagger and transferred to the guy who stabbed him. The cycle continued up to dear Rumple. So long as the dagger remains, Chernabog is not fully destroyed. Think Sauron and the One ring.

Yeah he keeps saying #NotWhatYouThink but then we have all these conflicting non-context spoilers.

I agree about Chernabog. I just think that the dark one curse has made its way around for centuries before it landed on Rump. I’m 100% positive the wicked witch was ONE of the previous Dark Ones, many people before her could have been.
