You know on Bae’s photos those weren’t really good either where is famous scarf that he usually wears?
In a perfect world, they should all have something that identifies them. Signifiers if you will. Last year’s photo shoot was great with that: Belle and her tea; Ruby with three hotdogs; Regina and her apple martini; Rumple had a spun golden scarf
Bae should have his scarf and has the swan pendant to indicate that he’s trying to get back to his family. In my head Rumple should be holding the chipped cup as a reminder that he always takes Belle with him.Hook can his hook of course, but..well that photo just needs totally redone. Emma and Regina could be shown making magic. Belle should have a book, though her photo is the best of the bunch. Snow should have her arrow.
I’ve been looking at Twitter and seems like most people aren’t pleased with them. But I’m just glad that it means we’re one step closer to S3.

This year’s look they were taken with a background found at the Sears Portrait Studio. The only decent ones to me were Belle and Henry. The others just seemed…bad. Even my beloved Rumple just looks old and strange.
Last year’s were fun and creative and this year’s are just blah. I was so excited to see them. It seems lately that fandom artists come up with better marketing and artwork than the so-called professionals.

Agreed that the backdrops look cheap. Would it have been so hard to add a NL background? See, even this fan-altered pic would make a half-way descent promo:

See! Even though Hook looks really bad in the face, it’s much better than the weird thing happening in the official ones.

I’m glad I saved that picture of Emma and they’re on ouat fansites already.
I checked the link. the only image there now is the group photo.
All the press must have been really negative. I know from Twitter alone that EVERYONE I follow pretty much hated them all across the board.

It’s interesting what this will mean. Has this ever happened to a fandom show before? The promo pics this widely disliked that they were pulled the same day as they were released?
It would be hilarious if TV Line, or whoever created the photos, posted “BAZINGA!” (gotta love Sheldon) and then posted the real ones…or that is just my little dream.
