Well, Snow was cast out of the castle pretty fast by Regina after her father died. Although the new sovereign is normally declared right after the old dies, the coronation normally takes place a while later (sometimes weeks). That could be the reason Snow wasn’t crowned and officially a queen, yet.
Plus, Snow is on the run because she’s a fugitive. Regina probably made it that since Snow is a fugitive, she forfeits her right to the throne and therefore, it goes to her instead.
Good point too. If and when Snow gets an opportunity she’ll have a better claim to the throne than Regina to remain.
All good points. The question does remain….which kingdoms do Charming and Snow rule? I think George’s and Leopold’s. Leopold’s obvious, George’s because Charming is wearing the same coat of arms on his tunic, but what of Midas and Thomas’ dad’s? Two are accounted for but the other 2 are still a ??? Midas, Abby and Freddy are missing but Thomas’ dad was present somewhere.
I think Midas’ and Prince Thomas’ kingdoms are separate. I haven’t heard of a ‘high king’ mentioned in OUAT, one king to over rule all the other ones.
The only time i wondered if Regina was like the High Queen was because in Ep 3 Snow and Charming were talking about the evil fairy dust and Snow says she has it saved for someone special. And Charming says who ah the queen or something. It was like she was The Queen and he didn’t refer to her specifically. That made me wonder if Charming’s kingdom was under Regina’s which is really Snow’s kingdom. Though in context he is, of course, talking about Snow’s Evil Queen, but it seemed a little strange. Though in later episodes they implied that Midas would overrun Charming’s kingdom unless they became allies through the marriage which makes me think that Charming’s kingdom is not under the Queen’s because i don’t think she would allow that. Though she may allow squabbling like that.
I don’t know. I still think of them as separate city state kingdoms until we get more information.

I understand as you said that they are separate kingdoms. I question at the time of Snow’ wedding to the curse; representatives of Thomas’ and Midas’ kingdoms are not present. are they under Snow and Charming’s control as one kingdom.
