Good question. Perhabs he did go to Neverland as one of the lost boys… I’m trying to make him not be Peter Pan you see, because I still don’t want Peter Pan to be a grown man 🙂
I don’t really think that Princess Emma, the savior, daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming, the main protagonist of the show married the white rabbit (a minor character) counterpart? That theory is a bit off don’t you think so? It makes more sense if he’s Baefire even if it’s a little clique :/

I’ve always thought that Neal was Bae. Everything just points to that such as the firefighter story. I’ve never heard of the white rabbit theory until medchen.
Anyway, I thought i was confirmed that Neal is Bae, because in the promo Gold tells Emma about his son, and now Emma is with Neal- it doesn’t take a genius to put two and two together.

I think he’s Baelfire too, but it’s possible that they could make him more than just Baelfire. If I had to rank the characters that he might also be besides Baelfire, I would say Peter Pan first, them Wizard of Oz or one of the trio of men that Dorothy made her journey with, and finally the White Rabbit. It could be possible that he’s some kind of combination of two or more of those characters as well as being Bae too.
I’m just wondering why he’s running from Emma because I thought his love of her would outweigh the fear and loathing that he has of his father. If he’s trying to get her to follow him to show her something that leads her down a “rabbit hole” that could be one reason.
Or I guess he could feel he’s still unworthy of her, but why run then Neal? It’s also possible I suppose that after they parted, he got in with a bad crowd and has to do things for them first before he can seek out Storybrooke.
I don’t know, but I hope it’s a really good reason and that it’s not just because he’s scared. If he’s running to some place to show Emma something or some people, then I would understand otherwise, so for right now that’s my head canon.
Jared was hanging around, hey? Even though it doesn’t mention seeing him shoot anything, you wouldn’t think he’d be randomly hanging around set if he wasn’t working, right? So does that mean that Henry went with Emma as some have speculated? Maybe that’s when Neal does a runner, when Emma tells him he’s a dad and he freaks out? Or maybe Henry freaks out and runs off and Neal and Emma follow him?

As to why Emma is running after Nealfire, it could be that he has fallen in with the wrong crowd. The last time we saw him, he was a thief. Maybe he’s on the run in general for owing money to someone, or maybe he’s wanted by the police. Or it could be that Emma and Henry’s arrival in town is more than he could take, and he doesn’t want to be found by his father. I like your thought – Henry ran off and Neal and Emma are chasing him.
Neal ‘ran’ from Emma once, I hope he regretted it, and hope he wouldn’t run again.As far as Regina letting Henry go with Emma, I don’t see that, nor do I see Emma allowing Henry to tag along on such a trip.
If anything, I think it will be a case of Henry stowing away in Emma’s car….wouldn’t be the first time 😉
