I wonder what happens to the shadow during the daytime, it obviously doesn’t like light.
What if the shadow and Peter Pan are the same person but Pan is under some sort of curse so that by day he is Peter but by night he is the shadow.

Keeper of FelixMay 6, 2013 at 1:36 pm #191456neverlandprincessParticipantDidn’t Hook say something to Emma about the Lost Boys having this look of being abandoned in their eyes? Maybe all the boys in Neverland just don’t realize that for most of them there isn’t a home to go back to. Or the feelings of being abandoned and being seperated from their parents are not really different from each other, so he said it like that… confuses me. The two stories don’t really fit together right now.
Wouldn’t Wendy tell Bae about the Shadow being normal when it’s day? Maybe it’s always dark in Neverlan…May 6, 2013 at 1:38 pm #191458PriceofMagicParticipantIf Wendy never saw the shadow during the day, then she wouldn’t know if it was normal or not.

Yes, in Tallahassee
Hook: I spent many years in Neverland – home of the Lost Boys. They all share the same look in their eyes… The look you get when you’ve been left alone.
Which brings me back to my thought that Bae and Hook and his crew are responsible for taking the boys home. A reverse Peter Pan of sorts. If the shadow is keeping them there, perhaps not maliciously if the shadow is just immature and wants friends, then perhaps it is Bae and Hook who return the boys home.

You can see the screenshots I posted, along with the summary about why I think Baelfire could eventually become Peter Pan. Basically, Phee had predicted Bae would come through the portal to Kensington Gardens, where there is a statue of Peter Pan in real life. Then, I observed in “Second Star to the Right” that is indeed where Baelfire came through! Both Peter and Bae have their origins there. I posted a screenshot of the plaque that said Kensington Gardens.

They already stated that Bae isn’t Peter Pan though but maybe there is a catch 😕

I think you may be alluding to the fact that Eddy and Adam have said they read many theories, but so far no one has guessed Baelfire’s backstory. Well, in my opinion, that still leaves open the possibility (however slim) that we just have failed the guess the details correctly. To my knowledge, no one guessed that we would only meet Peter’s shadow, which is what we saw in 2×21. I proposed a new twist though, which might just be the solution: whoever manages to capture the Shadow becomes the next Pan. If Baelfire eventually subdued the shadow, he could become the next stand-in for Pan, which is more of a leadership position than it is a single person. Baelfire might start out as a pirate and member of Hook’s crew (seems likely), but he might just eventually decide to capture that shadow and free the Lost Boys, making him their stand-in leader.

May 6, 2013 at 3:00 pm #191474RumplesGirlKeymasterI don’t think A and E ever stated that he wasn’t PP, just that no one has guessed his back story in full. I do think there is a lot more to the Bae story and there were so many obvious Peter Pan callbacks that I’m not prepared to rule out Nealfire Pan in some form.

I agree. I think he is going to be a reverse PP. I think instead of bringing kids to NL, Bae is going to be taking them home.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"May 6, 2013 at 3:14 pm #191477HappyEndingsSpectatorBae isn’t really a fighter nor a leader so I still don’t think he is PP. I was right that PP was evil and it looks like Hook is the good guy so far but will see. That statue looks more like the Pied Piper what is he holding in his hand? Maybe they are alluring to the fact that PP will be the next story, the time on the clock was the same time Emma broke the curse, with Bae it was him starting to go to NL wonder why they made the time the same? ❓
May 6, 2013 at 3:15 pm #191478KebParticipant8:15 in the first season was already an allusion to Peter Pan. It’s the time on the clock when Pan takes the Darling children to Neverland in the Disney film.
