I know “Stable Boy” aired forever ago. But I need to post this because honestly I’m in love with Daniel, I loved the episode we FINALLY know why Regina hates Snow! But seriously? Snow’s what? Twelve? And your all like
“I should have let her die on that horse!”
SHE’S TWELVE AND YOUR MOM IS FREAKING EVIL! AND YOUR BLAMING A TWELVE YEAR OLD?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? I MEAN SNOW DIDN’T RIP DANIEL’S HEART OUT! COME ON REGINA! Ok my rant is done. Theories, Opinions, or random ranting about the show is welcome thank you!

When you have that kind of parent who is so authoritative, it’s not in you to stand up to her. Regina is so much under the thump of her mother, she simply cannot blame her, it’s just not in her. Maybe later when she became a much darker character and she became queen and got power of her own, she could start blame her mother and no doubt punish her for what she did.

She had just had her guy murdered in front of her and she could not strike against her mother and then she finds out that it wouldn’t have happened if Snow hadn’t told. So she got angry. It isn’t a perfect logical reaction, but i don’t think that Regina is quite sane anymore.

(sadly) π it mad me angry that Regina has Daniel’s ring she enchanted it somehow so that she’d see his face (AWESOME!) But then she just throws it in the hat I mean, Daniel gave you that ring! What the fairy dust is wrong with you!

I was like “No. No. NOOOOOOOO.” I don’t know how she could do that, I mean that IS supposed to be the last thing she has of Daniel’s, right? I still think at some point they are going to find a way to bring Daniel back or have flashbacks of him haunting Regina for all of the revenge she has taken on people. Because I agree that Daniel seemed so sweet he wouldn’t have wanted Regina to end up the way she did because of his death.

If it is thought over carefully, Regina could not have anyone to truly confide in–her mother was(of course) never an option, and her father probably wouldn’t have been able to keep it to himself for long. Cora was incredibly powerful, and if she knew that Henry knew something, she would have gotten the information out of him. Of course she had Daniel to talk to, but she didn’t seem to be able to see him as often as she would have liked, and it didn’t look as though she had many friends.
The way she talked to Snow White about True Love was with great energy–I think it felt great for her to have someone to talk to, even if that someone was ten years younger and a child, she still was able to explain her feelings in a way that she would never have been able to explain to her mother without consequence.
June 16, 2012 at 2:49 am #148763lilredParticipantThis is the storyline I have the hardest time sympathizing with. There are still a few years there, while Snow was growing up, where the main target of Regina’s revenge might have been Cora (maybe this will explain Cora’s whereabouts???). Maybe even Regina was successful in her revenge against Cora somehow (banishment or something, not death) but then realized it didn’t ‘fix’ Daniel’s death. Emptiness waiting to be filled seems to be kind of a theme for Regina (even before curse). Maybe when her revenge didn’t leave her happy, we get to the point in the story where she kills the King and turns her attention to destroying Snow?
