Confessing my Oncer love:

I am so glad I took a very long break from Once I think its been over a year. Because my love is totally back now and I am able to completely overlook all the either contrived, or too melodramatic writing, or production choices that I don’t agree with in older episodes and just enjoy what I see. Really.. I am just fan girling all over the place. I love Once and this show will have a place in my heart forever.

Ive just watched episode 12 from season 5 because it was the 100th episode, so I wanted to see that. I thought,, I wasn’t gonna like it, because from clips it looked really weird, and it was kinda’ really weird…

But I was still completely falling apart with emotion, especially whit Regina meeting and “sending” her father to a better place. I was literally sobbing and that really does not happen often with me from watching tv shows. But this moment I am so glad this happened for Regina and her father .. and Im sobbing again now thinking about it :¨) Because the murder of her father was always the hardest thing, I feel,, for the character to come bac from, and it was really unforgivable ,, it was the act that made the hole in her heart that could never be filled.. even though it did.. lolz !… and seeing them reconcile and move on from that act, was just the best, loveliest moment I could have hoped for, for the two characters.

I don’t know what it is with Lana P‘s acting that she is able to affect me so much. All of her emotions seems so raw and I feel like we can look directly at the character’s soul, because it is painted on her face.. Regina, to me, doesn’t even feel like a tv character, she feels like a real person and I give all the credit for that to Lana P.

And everyone else’s acting was also pretty good. The guy playing Regina’s father was great. I really enjoyed seeing Baelfire back for a brief moment. And I felt really bad for Emma poor bird aww 🙁 I also loved the short moment of Snow and her interacting with Regina’s father/Cora. That made me miss bandit Snow.

Random lovely stuff: Loved seeing the blind witch again. Why was this character not used more? She was awesome. Also the scene from Evil Queens birthday and the annoying jester getting killed… that made me LOL.

Back in this current season, It feels like a fairytale again. I like that we have some of our main characters back on center stage and that the guest characters are serving as something to flesh out the main characters stories. It feels less nonsensical than some of the previous stuff, like that Elsa storyline etc..
And Im enjoying the show for its weird quirks, funny easter eggs and lots of fun stuff to come up with elaborate theories from.

Im sending love to the whole team behind Once- Lots of LOVE in their way…  ((LOVE))–>

And then coming on here to these lovely Oncer forums and discussing the episodes and trying to work out what the H E L L is going on with these stories. Listening to podcast and hearing everyones ideas. ((LOVE)) –> in the way of All you Oncers. ((LOVE)) –> to the team behind the forums and podcast.

What I also wanted to say, is that I recommend a break. Because taking one really has made me fall back in love with ONCE UPON A TIME .. only in a completely different way and for other reasons than the first time. Now I can call myself a proud ONCER once again 🙂
