I was just reading that the creators of the show (whose names are just too exhausting for me to type..ever v_v) were saying that OUAT in Wonderland was orignally intended to be a short hiatus fill-in during the winter but now thats changed and in the future they could tell entirely new stories should it be picked up for a second season. So could that mean that in the future we could possibly see maybe “Once Upon A Time In Oz or Once Upon A Time In Narnia OR Once Upon A Time in Atlantica, maybe? It’d be cool if for every season we got a different story set in a different world….

It depends on how well OUATinWL does (PS: we use A and E or H and K around here for the creators so we don’t have to type them out). Getting the rights for Narnia would probably be exhausting, so I doubt we’ll ever see it. Oz is almost for sure, but I think Oz is going to be apart of the original OUAT. The problem with this scenario is that it would require new cast every season or so and that’s a lot of money.

I’m worried that the “sister show” will drain plotlines/talent away from the main show. When it was just a mini-series type thing that was not a huge concern, but if they intend to really keep it going, then I do have to wonder how it will work. Some franchise shows manage to have several stories set in the same world but with completely different characters and plots, but its less clear cut to me how that would work for OUAT.

If the sister show turns into “new land each season” then I’ll be very worried. I like SB and I like FTL but I really want our original cast getting to go to these new lands. I want OUATinWL to mostly be in WL and London and let the original do all the world building.

But right now we know virtually nothing about how these two shows are going to work.

I want Once Wonderland to be only 12 episodes only. I, too, worry about it being a drain, but if it gets good ratings the network will want to milk it for all it’s worth.

I also wish they’d learn from cable tv and put more of their shows on in the summer. I’d rather have had Once Wonderland held over for next summer or even winter. A lot of places are too hot, or in my case with the never ending days of rain, too wet to do anything outside and there is nothing on television to watch. I am getting a dent on my Netflix queue, though. 🙂

OUATinWL would do well in the summer I think. A nice bridge for the fans. It would be a matter of finding the right time slot for it, though. But seriously, with Under the Dome pulling in CRAZY summer numbers over on CBS, I hope ABC realizes they could do some summer stuff for their big shows like OUAT.

I would be concerned if they were planning to do this for a whole bunch of worlds. However, I would make an exception to Once Upon a Time in Atlantica, I would definitely watch that 😀

Me too– I love underwater scenes.
