From Si-Fi Magazine (April, 2014):
Once Upon a Time in Wonderland ABC – S1 returns Thursday, March 6 at 8 PM
“We’ve seen the reunion of Alice and her love, Cyrus, the genie. Now we have to see what happens next,” says co-creator and executive producer Adam Horowtiz. “We’ve got the Knave inside the bottle. What does that mean? Jafar seems to be all-powerful.”
“Not only that, Jafar is so close to this plan of changing the laws of magic. We’re wondering what that would look like,” says co-creator and executive producer Edward Kitsis.
“We have a lot of great adventure and some twists still ahead, character twists and relationship twists. Also, there’s a tale of redemption for the Red Queen, who made a very bad decision. Will she be able to find her happy ending?” adds Kitsis.
Barbara Hershey will be returning as the Queen of Hearts, and we’ll meet the Jabberwocky.
“I can tell you that in the next five episodes of Wonderland, when the seaon ends, you will get the whole story,” says Kitsis.Link to original scan here

Very interesting! Sounds like Jafar might actually succeed in changing the laws of magic. I wonder if that would have implications for the parent-show OUAT?

I predict Red Queen might sacrifice herself to free Will from the bottle. Then Will and Liz will end up together.
Barbara Hershey will be returning as the Queen of Hearts, and we’ll meet the Jabberwocky.
I’ll actually be happy to see Cora again. And the Jabberwocky of legend! I wonder if we’ll see Lady Jacqueline (from “Tiny”) who slew a Jabberwocky. This blurb uses the definite article, the, which makes it sound like there is only one.
“I can tell you that in the next five episodes of Wonderland, when the seaon ends, you will get the whole story,” says Kitsis.
Sounds like WL will indeed just be one season.

That sorta sounds like Jafar changing the laws of magic might actually happen

That’s a very interesting theory. In the two Instagram photos Estrin posted for the filming of 1×13 (the finale) there is a shot of Ana laying on what look like a stone bed (like Aurora)–at first I thought sleeping curse, but maybe Ana does die. Her name does mean Resurrection, so is it possible that dead might not be dead though?
And the Jabberwocky of legend!
Yay Jabberwock!!!

I think that’s possible, especially if Jafar does succeed in changing the laws of magic, which would mean people can be resurrected.

Liz is too minor a character for that to really work (plus there’s no evidence Will feels that way for her, or even if Liz really feels that way for him or if it’s just platonic), and the pictures shown of Anastasia lying still on a bed has two shots, the second of them being a close up on her face and her eyes opening, so any sacrifice she makes won’t be permanent.

Usually, when Adam or Eddie present that question in an interview, it usually translates to “Yes.” I like that we’re going to see the Red Queen redeemed in the next half.

I like how they said “next five episodes” instead of “last five episodes”. I wonder if A & E still have hope for a renewal. Maybe a better scheduling would help WL’s ratings especially if TBBT is moving to a new night.
