ParticipantWe’ve seen 8:15 a lot on Once. The clock tower was stuck on 8:15 in the pilot until Emma decided to stay in Storybrooke and it moved.

Then, on the other side of the globe when Emma arrived in Storybrooke, August aka Pinnochio felt time move forward again in Phuket.

When Emma finally broke the curse and magic came to Storybrooke in the season 2 finale, it became 8:15 again.

The Shadow took young Bae from the Darlings at 8:15 in 2×21

Henry was born at 8:15 (still no date yet but I’m hoping that will be revealed this season). This was also the first time chronologically in the story, that we see Emma’s power as the savior. Giving birth to Henry made the lights go out.

Then, of course, if you go back and watch Disney’s Peter Pan, the Darling children landed on Old Ben and it was 8:15.

So, I’m wondering, is there a larger significance to 8:15 other than being a Peter Pan reference?

I think it shows that 1) PP is Eddy’s favorite cartoon and 2) PP is responsible for the dark curse, bringing Neal to NL so that he’d meet Emma at the appointed time to conceive Henry, the boy of prophesy for whom PP has been searching. Adam and Eddy have called PP a master-manipulator. I think PP is the mastermind behind everything, which is why 8:15 has featured so prominently since the pilot.

KeymasterIt’s also a LOST reference, Flight 815. But that was also a PP reference, the idea of going to another world–even if the island was still on planet Earth.
I think it’s a little Easter Egg for the LOSTies. But I do enjoy that it keep reoccurring around important events.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they come back to SB at 8:15. It’s a nice parallel to the season opening with Emma giving birth at 8:15.
301: Henry enters the world at 8:15
311: Henry and family return to SB at 8:15

I would not be the slightest bit surprised by this. Nice guess.
