What I am concerned about is the wish david made about EQ getting exactly what she deserves. I wonder how that’s going to play into what has happened. Is that what she deserved? To be turned into a snake? Or is there more? I’m guessing that wish is going to be important.
My thoughts exactly… the plot thickens, but in a good way this time 😉

Uuh! that would be a nice touch if they used the shedding of the skin thing in some way.. nice idea 🙂

Yeah the snake could represent a couple things here. One is that Charming called her a snake earlier in the episode. And the other is the fact that Jafar turned someone into a snake and molded them to be his staff and in the Aladdin movie, Jafar turns into a snake.
He didnt just turn her into a snake. He turned her into a caged snake. Thats odd. Why? Maybe he plans on retrieving her later and doesn’t want her to slither off?

Because a caged snake can’t harm anyone. But I also think, you can argue that the EQ has been caged once more, but this time in a literal sense. Regina kept her caged metaphorically post S2B and now she’s literally caged.

He later said that she had gotten what she deserved. So, though it’s unconventional, it does seem like that was the wish being granted…just not directly by Aladdin for some reason.
