I can definitely understand Snow being angry with Geppetto. I’m just shocked he finally decided to come clean about the wardrobe, what he made the Blue Fairy tell Snow & David. I wonder if Snow will tell David about what Geppetto did ?
Neal telling Emma that Hook was longer in the storage room and that Tamara was on the way to Storybrooke. I’m wondering if Tamara freed him and if he will be in her car when she hits Storybrooke.

I’m all for suspension of disbelief, but asking me to believe that Hook somehow got back to SB without his boat, while dressed as a Pirate, with a hook for a hand, when even Rumple didn’t know how to travel in the outside world….that’s a bit of a stretch.
Maybe we aren’t giving Rumple or Hook enough credit! Rumple originally was going to go out into the world without Emma, remember. Perhaps seeing Hook get run over by a car made him think “Hm, time to cash in the favor….it’s scarier out there than I thought.” Yet he thought he could go alone at some point, and he probably had quite a bit of access to information about what the outside world was like.
So I think we can infer the same for Hook. He’s a resourceful pirate who has traveled to strange lands all his life. Hook spent a lot of time in the library (besides being smashed on the floor !) so maybe he picked up some maps and tourist guides 😆 Plus, this is NY city. I think people are overestimating how much a man in black leather would stand out there with so many tourists, counter-culture types, fashionistas, performance artists and all that. His hook might get a few odd looks, but I don’t know, I can see him figuring out the subway or at least how to intimidate some poor cabbie to take him where he wants 😆
A bit more seriously, I think the writers did have to change the plan quick. I wish they had shown us “Hook in NY” because again, comic opportunities missed!“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. Going back to sneak peak 3, Emma says something to Neal that strikes me as odd.
“Between Greg Mendel or food obsessed tourists and now your fiancee this place is turning into a theme park
“Food obsessed tourists” ? Does this mean that a few other people have stumbled into SB in the past few days? Is the world truly coming to Storybrooke?
She said “Our food obsessed tourist”- referring to Greg.
And I have to say- as someone who used to work at WDW, the theme park line cracked me up!
Good sneak peeks! Glad to see Gepetto come clean…and poor Snow! The darkness is starting to make her do things. I can’t believe people are saying Gepetto deserves to get hit…hitting is never the answer to a problem.
I am really starting to love the interaction of Henry, Neal, and Emma. And it’s so nice that now that Cora is gone and Regina is laying low, the characters are finally not in immediate danger, and we can have more character moments- yay!

True, but Rumple had also lived in this world for 28 years already. He knew how to drive a car…or what a car even was. Cora, for instance, thought it was a strange carriage.

Yeah, the cabbie thing maybe. But how would he know how to direct the cabbie to SB? *also, will a cabbie take you from NYC to Maine?? I mean..holy cab fare, Batman!* And I’m sure Hook has maps and knows how to read them (he is a pirate after all) but SB isn’t on any maps, unless that all changed when the curse broke and now not only is it visible to the outside world upon entering but also now on maps.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"March 22, 2013 at 3:54 pm #181644rapunzel_is_a_gingerParticipantGood morning! (afternoon almost)
What bothers me about Snow’s reaction is that the “This isn’t me!” that follows the slap seems too fast — at least with the version we’re given… I’ve noticed some of the sneak peeks are edited for time before so that could be an editing issue. Basically the “smack!” hasn’t even faded before she’s changed her tone, which just doesn’t sit right with me. There’s no righteous anger behind it, no expression of anger at all. It just seems random. If she’s angry enough to slap him, I would at least expect some yelling.
As for Hook, I’m still betting he hitches a ride back with Tamara somehow. But if not that, I don’t think it’s farfetched for him to just steal another boat in the harbor and sail his way back rather than bullying a cab driver or something. He’s a pirate, so commandeering boats is probably all in a day’s work and sailing back in a small yacht or something would probably only delay him a couple of days.

I found it equally creepy that Greg told her that he doesn’t need towels because he air dries as a conversational opener. People don’t normally tell total strangers about walking around naked after showering.
Err…. I assumed he was referring to air drying the towels, not himself.
Letting a towel dry doesn’t stop it from needing to be changed with a little use, because they pick up dead skin cells, bacteria, etc. It’s a hygiene issue. Only way they really don’t need changing is if Greg doesn’t use them. Hence my conclusion that what he is air drying is himself.

A lot of hotels these days are doing water conservation, and put a card to say hang the towels to reuse or throw on floor to replace….but if one wants the mental image of Greg “drying” I guess go with the other interpretation! 😆

Hey, if the payment is avoiding a hook in the eye, the cabbie might take you wherever you want 😆
Though, I do think Rapunzel_is_a_Ginger has a better theory.

Good point. He doesn’t need a tall ship like the Jolly Roger, just something with a sail because sailboat design isn’t like that jump from horse and carriage to car.

Actually that’s not bad. Didn’t even occur to me.
