I like the chemistry between them. As a SwanFire fan (and i refuse to believe it’s anything but) i wasn’t disappointed. What i find really interesting though, is that, despite–or perhaps because of–whatever happened, Emma kept the car. Could they be laying the groundwork for OTL? God i hope so.

I love Neal’s snarkiness. I want him to be Bae so bad. Anyone spot any clues? (Besides the hoodie and his “good name” comment that suggests he might be tied to Rumple?)

For now, I’m just unbelievably excited to have MRJ in Once. 😆

Also, I wonder if the car is really his, or if he stole it too…his reaction at the police car following them seemed a bit strange. ❓ I wonder what he did?

When I first heard that MRJ was cast to play a character who was likely to be Henry’s father, i was a little worried about the chemistry and how his acting was. I hadn’t even heard of him and then I watched Terriers and fell in love but i was still worried about the chemistry between him and Jenny. I guess because he’s a bit lighthearted and she plays Emma so shut off… but with this clip i’m pleasantly surprised.

Purely out of curiosity, do any of you know what epp it was that Rumple said that about Emma?

But that’s really cool. He mirrors Rumple’s words and yet mirrors Henry’s actions (remember when Henry was hiding in the back seat of the bug?). I know a lot of things we find could just be coincidence, but this HAS to be deliberate.

If he is Bae — I’m glad he still seems to have a light-heartedness. I was actually really worried that they would write a really emo/depressed/closed-off Bae who was still bitter about what his father did to him. Obviously Bae will still have that emotional intensity from his dark past, but I wanted to see some of his “innocence” survive even that.

I have to keep reminding myself that – obviously – this episode doesn’t end well for EmmaxNeal. (sigh) A few more days.

I have to agree with everything that’s said. At first I was a little worried as well but that’s completely vanished by now.
Such a great and instant chemistry between Jen and MRJ! 😮 I think I’ve found a new OTP.

And may I add a little interesting fact about the “name thing” …it has been said that Gold/Rumple received all his memories back not until he heard Emma introducing herself in the pilot.
Mhm…I wonder whether there could be any deeper significance to this…which ties to Bae – uhm -Neal as well.

Great points. I think there’s something awfully endearing about two lost fairy tale children flung through time and space only to find true love in a place without magic.

Also…if he’s not Bae, I’m going to be totally devastated. I think I’m too far gone with this idea now to turn back. I blame the writers. 😆 I try not to get emotionally invested in any fan theory but this– this is just too much.

I know! He has to be Bae! If Henry’s father was jus some guy what would it matter to him that curse is broken? I’m thinking August and Pinocchio knew each other maybe they ran in to each other and discovered that they’re both from the EF. I’m thinking Bae (Neal) found out who Emma was and that’s why he ditched her. I don’t know how to formulate the idea yet but I’m seeing how the pieces can fit.
