Hmmm, guys… I know I might be pushing it a little too far, but since I’m obsessed with MRJ being Emma’s one true love, it just occurred to me that Emma’s parents love story started with… well… Snow robbing Charming, and look where it got them.
Perhaps it runs in the family? 😆

I think whatever ended up happening between the two of them is the reason Emma got thrown in jail so it is not just nothing. It is not just emotional stuff. It is possible Bae did not intend for it to happen, but whether or not he did Emma got thrown in jail.
I think it’s going to be something like betrayal. He leaves her to to take the punishment of a crime of some sort (perhaps because he’s a coward like his Papa?) It would be rather poetic if the good son that was Bae made the same error of his father.

But the big point here is that it was unintentional. The way Emma put it to MM made it seem like whatever it was was planed and her taking the blame was the wanted outcome. I’m just praying it’s nothing like that.
Man, I love this guy already. I love the parallel with Henry popping up from the backseat of the Bug. I’ve really become Bae obsessed lately. I’ve posted two Bae stories in two days. Thank goodness it seems like my one story fits in with this sneak peek perfectly. At least for right now.
It’s so great to see JMo have such great chemistry with MR-J. There’s a spark there that wasn’t there with August or even what little we’ve seen of Hook, although I do think they’ll try a Hook/Emma thing for awhile. With August it does seem brotherly so I could never see them together. These two I can see eventually procreating. 😆
With all the theories running around, I love the one that he’s an undercover cop. I could see him being a vice cop. That is so unexpected. We all expected him to be the one who drug Emma into thievery, but what if he was on job and wasn’t able to help her. But I’ve got an open mind. What I do know is that once he shows up in Storybrooke it’s going to be fireworks galore when Emma sees him hanging around town. Especially after he finds out about Henry. Angst will abound.

Yes, I’m loving all the gifs that people have made on Tumblr showing the parallels from just one scene between Snow/Charming and Emma/Bae, Henry and Bae, and of course Rumple and Bae.
I love how most of the reaction to MRJ has been positive so far. I knew once people saw him in action fully that they’d see he was perfect for the show.
There was a set photo recently where it showed MRJ walking along next to a police bike, and that idea immediately popped into my head. But then I realised it just looked like actual, legit, crowd control coz the street’s shut down for filming cop, and the pic was snapped between takes, so I wrote the idea off. Would be an interesting twist though.
Oh, you don’t know how much you got my hopes up, lol. I just love the twist of Bae being a cop since everyone expects him to be a thief/conman and because MRJ usually does play those characters, I’d like to see him be on the right side of the law for once. Plus, while I could definitely see Bae getting into crime because of what happened in his earlier life, part of me wants to see him still make the brave/noble choices in his life.

Yes, I’m fully expecting him to be a thief/conman, but the preview/summary could go either way right now. If he was an undercover cop, it makes sense for him to be on stake-out hiding in the Beetle, and whatever case he was on, he probably thought was a lot more serious than a young woman stealing a car. He just seemed to know a lot about the law in that brief scene too.
Further, he doesn’t want the other police officer to pull them over because he’s afraid of his cover being blown/getting into trouble with his supervisor not because he’s actually afraid of going to jail. So I could see him pretending to be a thief to Emma because he was still working/was afraid to tell her who he really was, and was actually trying to help get her out of her life of crime. Something goes wrong though, and when Emma gets busted, she sees him at the police station, and not only is the twist that he’s a cop, but she ends up punching him because we know how Emma’s temper is, which is the real reason she went to jail not because of the stolen goods. Bae being Bae would probably feel like a real pervert once he found out how old Emma was, and would convince himself that a relationship with her wouldn’t work even if she was of age because she would have just abandoned him like everyone else who he loved ever. 😥
Of course, the name does point to him being a conman/thief, so I’m trying not to get too attached to the theory.
