I’m 10000% positive Cora isn’t sincere. She’s just playing, just like she was in the Stable Boy with young Snow and when she caught the lovers in the stables.
Notice, how she didn’t apologise to Regina for ruining her life or killing her true love – no, she “was sorry she made her marry the king”.

But that’s my point – she’s not sincere even thought she seems sorry – she doesn’t apologise for the most horrible things she’s done to Regina – just for the unwanted marriage. She doesn’t seem to notice that she’s done so much more evil to her than just that.

Yes, I totally agree with you. That’s way I’m glad Regina didn’t seem to buy her story, but I don’t know for how long she will ‘talk back’ to her mother, and not get in trouble.

Anyone noticed in the clip that Regina is surrounded by dress form to display her Evil Queen dresses ?!? 😮

Wonder if Cora makes them appear before she appears to Regina ?

Yes, they are her Evil Queen outfits and there is even this weird artificial tree. My guess it’s somewhere near the mayor’s office, judging by the walls decoration.
And no, don’t think Cora made them appear in front of Regina – unless it was something like a magic door appearing in front of Regina and trying to remind her who she was. But it feels more like Regina keeping it herself, in the end, she had to be this boring mayor for 28 years, what better than a little play with her ‘old’ dresses? 😈
I also think that Cora didn’t come through the door but through the mirror next to it.
