^I actually think there will. This is going to sound strange, but for some reason, some fans have a hard time seeing a woman as a sexual preditor, even though that’s exactly what Regina is. But seeing a man sexually vicitimize a woman might rub people the wrong way. It’s a kind of sexual abuse that we’re more familiar with, so it’ll probably have a greater impact on the audience.

Also, I agree with Midnight Dreary that it’s different when the genders are switched in a situation like this. The situation with Regina, though still technically morally wrong, was an empowered woman making an strong, attractive young man her love slave. If they show the worldly Killian deceiving a poor, naive young woman by promising love and then instead prostituting her out to his crew, that would be perceived as MUCH worse than what Regina did to the Huntsman. And if they want people to become Hook fans, that’d be a pretty good way of turning everyone right OFF him from the getgo, so wouldn’t be a smart move on their part.

I don’t mean to state the obvious, but Milha is a…well…she’s a word that I don’t feel comfortable saying right now. 😆 But at least she got serious for Bae. Hopefully, she won’t break his heart. I’d hate for Bae to have had two parents who abandoned him.
