I’m curious do why Mr.Gold/ Rumple is spinning in Skin Deep we found out he spins to forget so I’m curious if he wants to forget something he has done to someone maybe Belle’s father and is scared Belle will find more of a beast and find it harder to forgive him that is why Belle look so confused at the end of the clip because she knows something is wrong.

I’ve only watched the Gold/Charming and the Iced Tea clips. I’m staying away from the others until the show. I’ve heard play-by-play and that’s okay. But I want to see the scene in the show for the first time.

It was hard to tell coz of the quality of the clip, but I thought at the end where they have the closeup of him cutting it, it looked like he’d been making gold thread.

YES, I wondered the same thing! Maybe he’s just innocently spinning to forget, and she’ll assume he’s doing it for more sinister reasons, and that’ll cause a conflict?

“A man unwilling to fight for what he wants…deserves what he gets.” I do believe we just witnessed the moment where Rumple officially became emotionally scarred for life.
It’s probably not entirely logical that I’m loving Hook, considering I love Rumple, and Hook is so horrible to him.

This may explain why Rumple believed Regina about Belle’s death. He loved Belle and wanted her but didn’t fight for her so when Regina told him about her death, in his own mind, he got what he deserved.
Rumple couldn’t really afford to fight Hook. Besides the fact he had never been in a duel before, if he had tried to fight Hook and lost, Bae would have been without a mother and father. It was a lose/lose situation for Rumple either way. By not picking up the sword, Rumple ensured that Bae could grow up with at least one parent around.
All magic comes with a price!

It’s a really good thought process but I doubt it was rumple’s at the time.
I really don’t blame Rumpel for not fighting Hook. Rumpel was much a older man, has a bad leg, and was surrounded by pirates who could easily kill him.
Rumpel’s episode always end up making me love him even more. I hate seeing him before he became the Dark One. He was so weak and vulnerable. It’s almost too painful to watch. My heart just aches for the guy in these clips. 😥
