    Look like the Phoenix constellation

I will jump for joy if it is the actual Phoenix constellation!

So I was right since Henry was born in Phoenix, the Phoenix raises from the ashes is the story of the phoenix right?

Yes, that’s right. In the legend of the phoenix, it builds its own funeral pyre upon the palm tree and burts into flames, only to be reborn from the ashes. So it would be highly symbolic if the phoenix constellation were on Bae’s map leading Emma home. Emma and Bae’s love could rise from the ashes just like the phoenix does. Interestingly, the name Tamara means palm tree, whose ashes are now laid to rest with her passing.

Here’s a question: did Tink or Hook lead the JR5 to Bae’s cave? If it was Hook does that imply that the two were seeing each other and working together even after the events of 222? And if it was Tink, does that mean Bae and Tink worked together?

I think that Hook and young Baelfire may have spent more time together than we’ve seen after Bae left Hook’s ship. If so, perhaps the reason Hook knows it’s a map is because he and Bae used it the first time to leave NL.

Hmmm. Tword wise? Hook was in the EF at least a few months before the Curse hit. We’ve been speculating for a long time that Bae was in NL until about 1991 given his age and wanted poster. So Hook left NL before Bae.

Good point. Plus, the more I think about it, the less likely it seems that Bae would help Hook leave NL since Hook was bent on getting revenge on Rumplestiltskin at the time. I doubt Bae would’ve helped Hook kill his dad, no matter how hurt Bae was by Rumple.

ETA: When you think about this drawing possibly being Rumple, it’s so tragic. Neal told Rumple that the last thing he sees at night is Rumple’s face as he falls away, letting go of Bae’s hand. Rumple said there is no greater pain than regret, but Neal said, “Try abandonment.” So sad.

How many decades, centuries even, did poor Bae spend alone in that cave dwelling on his pain? Scared for life. Alone. An orphan. Unloved. 🙁 Poor Bae! *feels for Nealfire*

It is a big smudge to me.
