So I’m going to divest myself of any SF trapping I have for a moment and look at another possible explanation for the “phoenix” constellation, if it is indeed that.

Is it possible that PP planted that coconut with the stars mapped out like that in order to trigger something in Bae? Not like he’s a sleeper agent but rather to create a sense of longing in Baelfire to go to where those stars were someday? We know he landed in NJ when he left NL so why go to Phoenix of all places? For those of you not in America, it’s literally on the other side of the country. Well PP needed him there to steal the watches to get him on the run to Portland to meet Emma. So while Bae may have subconsciously been plotting Phoenix stars for sorta unknown reasons, it is at all possible that it’s more of PP’s manipulation?

While I think that Bae made the constellation map, I think PP possibly left him clues, which helped Bae figure out “another way” to leave the island. Peter Pan told Henry his birth was no accident, and that PP always intended for Henry to be born of light and dark. That means PP always planned for Emma, true love incarnate, to have a child with Baelfire, the spawn of the dark one. I think that PP planned for Henry to be born in Phoenix, Arizona, where Emma was incarcerated, because of the huge symbolism of Henry causing magic to be reborn. The way between Neverland and Earth being the constellation of the pheonix would add to that level of symbolism. Having said that, I do see huge SF symbolism in the phoenix constellation rising from the ashes of a palm tree coconut. SF is being reborn. Emma’s tagline for S3 was “Believe a Lost Girl can find her way home.” Baelfire’s map is showing her the way home, home to her figurative Tallahassee.

PP might have planned it, but whether they get back together would be a choice.  I think it is quite possible that PP orchestrated many events.  We have a puppet (August…or had) so why not a puppet master?

Hehe Just had a mental image of PP sat down with a map of our world, going “No Hnery can’t be born there, it’s not symbolic enough!”

Well obviously I do as well but…..Switzerland. I am trying to be Switzerland.

I really do think that by the end of this first half we are going to learn that PP had his fingers in many pies.

(hmm. that was better in my head)

For those wondering, this is Tiara’s picture larger

It’s clearly a dragon pteradactyl phoenix stringray.

A phoenix is a thing with wings. 🙂 Thanks, Tiara!
