August and Emma have too much of a sibling vibe to be involved romantically IMO. Hook would definitely be attracted to her, though I dunno that the feelings would necessarily be returned, but I’d say he’ll still have a grand old time trying.

Yeah I get that vibe from August and Emma too so I don’t like the prospect of that relationship happening much either even though it was hinted at as a possibility before. I think a Hook and Emma relationship would be just more fun to explore, though if it were reciprocated I’m not sure how Snow and Charming would feel about their daughter being in a relationship with Captain Hook lol. There’s a theory about Henry’s dad being Bae whose also Peter Pan; so what about a Peter Pan- Emma – Captain Hook love triangle?

You would think that after everything that has just happened, Emma would not be dating a guy describe as “worst than Rumplestilskin”. I don’t think a romantic relationship is in the cards for Hook and Emma. He was a womanizer before Milah and I doubt he has become the relationship kinda guy after Milah.

I actually think the fact that Hook and Milha seemed to be in a monogamous relationship in which they really loved each other shows that Hook is very capable of forming another attachment with the right woman. Though Hook and Milha weren’t legally married (probably since she couldn’t divorce Rumpel back then), they had a “common-law” marriage. Also, since Hook only lost Milha due to her murder and not a messy break-up, he will probably be open to true love again. Sure, Hook may have had more than a few flings in his 300+ years, but he’d be able to commit again to the right woman. A man who has truly loved before is capable of loving again.

While I think Emma is going to be closed off to the possibility at first, I think that Hook could potentially become so besotted by her, that he’ll pull out all the stops and charms to try and win her. I’m not saying Hook and Emma would be each other’s true love or that they’d marry, but I think Hook could at least be open to loving just one woman again, since we’ve seen him do so with Milha. Plus, it’s been several centuries, so he’ll have healed enough to give it another go with the right woman. (It may end up being someone else, like Ruby, but I think he’s at least open to love).

I know that’s how he was described in the promo but after actually seeing the guy plus the description from the producers I don’t think that’s the case. The thing is showing the relationship with Milah shows that he is capable of having a monogamous relationship and hints that maybe he wasn’t as big a womanizer as one would think. I know it may seem out there for a romantic relationship to exist between the hero of the series and the new villain from this season but jus saying if it went that way it would be interesting.

I am not shipping, but i certainly think there could be flirtation between Hook and Emma. I am not sure if Emma is going to go for it though. I think that it is unlikely anything will happen with August, just because i sort of find him boring and i think Emma would too. The mystery guy is my bet for the love interest.

Also i am not really buying the worst then Rumpel that was in the promo. That was just promo nonsense and was not in anyway backed up by what happened in the actually episode. Hook loved someone and seemed to be faithful to her regardless of his talk of loving other men’s wives. We also never saw Hook kill anyone even if he threatened Rumpel a couple times. So Rumpel is still the ultimate evil so far.

I could see it starting out as Hook getting close to Emma as part of Cora’s and his plan to get to Storybrooke, but in the synopsis in the next episode; Hook and Emma apparently face Jack’s Giant together. So maybe it starts off that way but things happen in between and he actually falls for her and vice versa. This is even more out there but how bout then it gets to a point where Hook either screws them over according to the original intent or has to save them all from Cora? The way these writers are if that did happen even after Hook would make the noble gesture Emma would reject him for his decent in the first place lol.

The only thing about the mystery guy is he could also be Henry’s dad so… that could be rough at first but long term that’s mendable I think. If he proves to be Peter Pan and there’s something going on between Hook and Emma that could be just so much fun lol.

I agree, that short term it seems unlikely that there is going to be anything between Emma and Henry’s father, but long term i could see that. I hope she is very angry at him first though before anything would happen. I think with Hook, he seems like he has been going all revengy because of Miliah for centuries, so for him to just all of the sudden like Emma seems like a bit much to me.

Flirt with her because well she is there and because he wants something from her, totally see that happening, but actually love interest seems out there. At least at this point in both Hook and Emma’s lives. Hook needs to let go of his revenge issue and Emma needs to well be ready for a relationship.
