I would have said that Cora’s defining characteristic is ‘power-hungry’, and I’m not sure we’ve seen that in Lacey. Wanting to live forever comes close, but it’s not the same as wanting to make people bow.
Perhaps not in the same sense power hungry, but she admires and craves power in others. She was not interested in Gold until she saw him displaying his power (physically) over Keith/the Sheriff. It wasn’t until she realizes that Gold was a very powerful man was she even willing to consider him romantically. And in turn she is interested in what that power can do for her. I don’t think she has any desire to do magic herself, but she likes what magic can do for her.
The beating of Keith…I can’t help but think that was a set-up. She sent Keith packing in the bar, “Not my Type”, so why end up with him later? If she is a Rumple-double, I can see her meeting Keith out back just to provoke Gold, to see how he’d react.

Interesting. So, if he has physical form then why does he need the young boys? We had speculated somewhat that the Shadow was looking for form, a host, and Bae was the best fit.

Colin’s flippin’ hot. Very swoonable. It’s okay. You can like him AND Bobby. It’s legal.
Absolutely! Let’s face it, OUAT is pretty good about casting hot guys and every guy has their turn in the rotation for their moments of hotness. It may not be something is seen often (or nearly as often as we’d like…) but they do have their moments.
Think back to the pilot for a second…Charming had one of the best swordfights I have ever seen and a lot of us were swooning over him after that scene with baby Emma in one arm and a sword in the other. I know for myself personally, Rumple didn’t do a whole lot in that ep other than be a little creepy – Bobby is brilliant, but seriously he was creepy in that first ep before seeing any of the other stuff – and look how that changed over time!
Most of them, even the villains, have had their moments of brilliance and hotness and doing something ridiculously wonderful that makes us swoon and then we go back to making a more informed (and somewhat torn at times) decision about what we think or feel regarding them and we see the LAYERS. (They all have tons!)
We haven’t gotten to see many of the layers of Hook yet because we started out with him literally at the end of his Killian Jones days and other than watching the woman he loved die in front of him and vowing revenge on Rumple, we haven’t gotten much of that. He’s had tiny little moments along the way, but not enough to where people who don’t like the character can say “yeah that was hot” other than just pics of the actor. There’s more to Hook than meets the eye (same goes for ALL the characters we’re given) it just takes longer for it to show with some than others. Can’t wait to see reactions when people are a little more torn over hating him so it at least gets dialed down a notch, even if he’s still not completely lovable to some.
I know Rumple took awhile to grow on people too, especially with some of the stupid stuff he does occasionally (major GRR), but if he can be defended / shown to have wonderful swoon-worthy moments….then so can any of the others. Looks like Hook’s turn is up next!
I STILL want to know what thing stick thing is! I don’t remember anything like that in any of the Peter Pan mythology I’ve seen but I’m planning on going to watch / read a lot of that in the near future if only to hunt for clues / deal with all the feelings after SSTTR & ASOTM. *sigh*
I like the idea that the stick might control the shadow (and if so, who is controlling Felix?). Not sure if it can turn him into anything but it’s definitely an interesting idea. So many questions!
*goes back to studying the photos for more clues – my jaw seriously dropped with how much was in there even though the first few were pretty much expected*

Does someone have to be controlling Felix? Let’s hypothesize that he’s been on NL for a very long time–like hundreds upon hundreds of years. And he’s set himself up as dictator/king/tyrant by using his magical powers to control the boys. He only has two very closer followers (the twins that were cast) but the rest of the Lost Boys yearn for a change, for freedom. Maybe Bae takes it upon himself to free them and end Felix’s long reign. It’s almost Rumple-like, how he saved all the children of the front lands during the Ogre’s War, something he was very proud of and even told Bae to demonstrate how he was stil “good”
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"May 10, 2013 at 12:12 am #192625HappyEndingsSpectatorWhat gets me is that Wendy said that the lost boys where asking for their mothers when it got dark or something like that gee wiz if this is the leader a 26 year guy/man, the lost boys might be what 14 and up come on so the total lost boys is 3 ❓ Or should I say only 2 kids then and 1 man because this guy on the ship is a man not a boy.
May 10, 2013 at 12:16 am #192626MysteryKat25ParticipantThis is all…very confusing. I could see how Felix is just in charge by himself and I’m all for parallels.

The actor is 26, but I believe Felix was cast as 16 yr old. This is not uncommon, for actors in their 20s to play teenager.
I believe the rest of the Lost Boys, the ones crying out for their mothers, will be much younger. But the three that we are going to see: Felix and the twins are in their early teens, and I believe they are in charge of the Shadow, if Felix is not the Shadow outright.
**EDIT**
Here is the original casting callA few teen boy roles are being cast that might be recurring. One of the boys is named Felix, and he’s their leader. Sounds like the Lost Boys are coming!
It doesn’t specify age for Felix so the writers could be imagining him as being 18 even.

I am curious about why did Hook decided to change sides. I guess that we have to find out wait until Sunday to find out.
Robert Carlyle is a fantastic actor in the 3rd sneak peak. Just a quick theory, I think that Henry will cause Rumple’s undoing of his death since Eddy and Adam stated that Rumple’s undoing may not be a bad thing and it will make sense why the Seer said the words “Be warn” since Rumple seems willing to die.
I agree with Phee that the curse of the mermaids will have to deal with the myth that mermaids will drag you to your death if they catch in the water which creates the perfect set-up of Ariel saving him instead of killing him. I have a feeling the the majority of the mermaids are evil in Neverland (with Ariel being in the minority of the good mermaids) as Neverland is supposed to be a darker place in Once Upon a Time and if the mermaids tried to drown Wendy in Once Upon a Time like the disney movie did, it would explain why the mermaids decided to drown her.
Sorry that I am a little late on this but I thought I should share my thoughts
Keeper of Tamara's death, Cyrus's bottle, Ariel's red hair, and the mermaid that got turned into a statue in the season 3 premiere episode.
