HappyEndings – yep I’ve seen it before, it just doesn’t look like Bae is doing a very good job of actually keeping himself up there by himself based on the hands / feet (he could be, it’ll be better in action, but it just looks weird right now). I’m sure the actor was harnessed up so while he may be staying perfectly in place, I’m not 100% positive about the job he’s doing in keeping himself up there which is sure to be very difficult for anybody, hence looking for other possibilities when multiple things seem a little out of sorts.

I can’t really explain the skull necklace being gone mid-scene (though I can’t really explain Hook having pixie dust yet either…). It’s at least possible within the world of Neverland so it doesn’t have to be thrown out of the way just yet, though I do like the idea of Hook just lifting him up there (I want good, fun, positive Hook/Bae moments!)

I just want Hook to do SOMETHING, even if it is just lifting him up and telling him to hold on, to help him. It just does seem really weird that one of his pendants is missing mid-scene.

RG – I thought that could be the case too, though usually both fall side-by-side…I guess it could have had an off-day mid-scene though lol.

I was toying with that idea myself, but I ruled it out because I thought Adam and Eddy said we wouldn’t see Tink until S3.

I don’t recall them saying when we might see her, but they hinted at showing her at some point. Can’t remember for the life of me where that quote would be though. The talk of Hook giving him pixie dust just got me thinking how even if someone gave Bae that stuff, he wouldn’t use it because he hates magic. So if he is indeed levitating by some magical means, someone had to do it to him against his will.

I guess the alternative to Tink being there is that Felix bangs that staff on the floor and something magical happens to lift him up, because Felix is using the staff to summon him?

Yeah, I think the necklace is insignificant in this case. But I do agree, Bae looks awkward up on the ceiling. But Hook could still have fairy dust in his pocket or something.

I certainly couldn’t hold myself up there even if somebody picked me up to reach in the first place, especially long enough for Hook to then proceed to have a conversation with Felix (and there’s a foot coming in the window I swear it, there’s more people there)…I just…I can’t see how he could do that unless he’s done it before and it certainly does not look like he is straining to hold himself up (I realize the actor is harnessed in but I’m gonna have to agree with Phee on the feet thing)

That’s true but I also think there is something to be said for extra measures being taken to ensure the security of Dylan.

Hehe. They are distracting. He always seems to have the dagger on top of the skull. I’m betting the skull fell inside his shirt in that shot. Happens all the time to pendants that fall around the same length as a shirt neckline.

Yes, but it could be a bad angle of photography or Dylan’s foot slipped.

This. Even if he’s strapped in, the actor should still be showing some sort of strain in his hands and face to convey what’s happening. Actually, his face looks really blank. I’m starting to like my random idea that Felix put some sort of spell on him. I’m thinking it froze him, accounting for his stiff posture and blank face, and then he was raised up as Felix tried to summon him using that staff. Maybe this has something to do with how the Shadow and his captors can fly?

I agree on that RG, the actor is definitely harnessed in but so far Dylan has been spectacular. I can’t imagine that his direction was to pretend like he was straining to stay up there and hold on and then we see him just hanging up there.

On the other hand it is a still shot so perhaps he was moving around to get better footing at the time or something. Who knows. (I NEED CONTEXT)

I’m happy the idea is at least branching out to other ideas! Hook having pixie dust but not in the necklace, Hook lifting Bae up (which explains how he got there if he wasn’t levitated) cause that’s a scene I’d love to see, etc etc. This is why I love crazy theories – they’re usually grounded in at least some small kernel we can use to further a real idea along. 🙂

I’m also loving that people are drooling over Colin outside of a pro-Hook or pro-CaptainSwan thread 😀

Staring at Colin’s chest to figure out pendants, the things we do for clues! (It’s a tough job but somebody has to do it!) 😉

Oh hmm, the staff thing….well he could have put him up there so he wouldn’t have to be bothered with him but didn’t the press release say something about the lost boys being after Bae? Why wouldn’t they just take him then? I really really want to know what is actually going on but I like the staff idea. I don’t want Hook to let anything happen to him though – and I don’t think he will
