[adrotate group="5"]January 6, 2013 at 6:41 am #167111evilqueenParticipantAll right, am I the only one picking on Henry being up to something?
He tried so hard for Emma not to walk him to school which is really odd since he loved spending time with her. And she’s just came back from the FTL – after all this time of missing and worrying about her, ‘the usual Henry’ wouldn’t leave her for a second! (he would also be asking way more questions about her adventures but I guess he must have been told all the stories in the ‘off screen’ time).
Instead, he was finding millions excuses to be walked to school alone – and when Pongo arrives and Emma finally agrees to that, he just says ‘ok’ and he’s gone. Now, ‘the usual Henry’ would have been way more interested in what was happening with the dog and his first reaction would’ve been more along the lines “Cool, “wolf thing”, what do WE do?”. He would probably even find some name for the ‘operation’. But this time, he gives the story a miss, even though Red seems to be really worried…
If you ask me, this is VERY UNLIKE HENRY, I don’t believe he’s not up to something!January 6, 2013 at 10:38 am #167118MyrilParticipant@once upon a reality wrote:
I’m happy Emma is taking a stand! Emma did the right thing! Did anyone eles notice how layed back Emma was dress?
Like a lot how she’s dressing in this episode (what we can tell from the sneak peeks). Classy and still simple and casual. Slight change in wardrobe?
Emma has all reason to be more confident now again. She survived some ogres, dead people attacking her, Cora attacking her, and she has a better idea, where she’s coming from.@EvilQueen wrote:

No, you’re right, Henry was way too eager to walk alone to school.¯\_(?????? ?)_/¯

I know, I’ve been thinking that maybe the writers want to emphasize that he’s now ELEVEN and not ten and that the time is actually passing by. And that he might start to get embarrassed being walked to school and all that jazz… but hey, this is Henry we’re talking about!
And would he really be embarrassed being escorted by the Savior? 😉
He would’ve at least tried to stick around for a bit longer for a development on ‘Pongo’s’ story…January 6, 2013 at 12:55 pm #167122magic beanParticipant@EvilQueen wrote:

He would’ve at least tried to stick around for a bit longer for a development on ‘Pongo’s’ story…I didn’t think anything of it. I just think that he is growing up and wants to be more independant. Especially since Charming taught him to sword fight, and he now has a horse which he is responsible for. He might just want to prove that he is capable of looking after himself and doesn’t want to be shielded by everyone all the time.
January 6, 2013 at 3:23 pm #167128PheeParticipantGotta love how the clip with “dead” Archie has mostly just served to inspire speculation on how he’s not dead. Only on this show! 😉 I do hope he’s not really dead, as his rumoured involvement in future eps seems to suggest.

As for Archie and Gepetto as an item, it would certainly be a modern twist. What happens between a man and his conscience stays between the man and his conscience. Cricketto or Gepicket. The audience would probably be okay with a gay pairing seeing as there is quite a lot of SwanQueen supporters in the fandom.
I’d be totally cool with them having a gay couple on the show, but I dunno about those 2 guys. It’s not that different to SwanQueen, which I think is unrealistic because of what Regina did to Emma’s parents. Same deal with what Jiminy did to Geppetto’s parents. I do kinda love the shipper name Cricketto though. 😆

Agreed!

He would’ve at least tried to stick around for a bit longer for a development on ‘Pongo’s’ story…You’re right, it is a little out of character for Henry to actually do as he’s told. Perhaps Henry is being teased or bullied at school? It would be a great way to introduce other kid characters and would explain why Henry is reluctant to have Emma walk him to school.. He’s the son of the saviour and the son of the evil queen so someone is bound to tease him about that fact because kids can be cruel. During the curse, everyone was afraid of Regina so Henry was probably left alone. Now that Regina is on the down and out and isn’t so evil anymore, other kids will probably start taking liberties. It would also give Henry something to do this season and potentially set him up to start wanting to use magic.
All magic comes with a price!
Keeper of FelixJanuary 6, 2013 at 6:32 pm #167137elleParticipantI think Henry wants to prove how strong he became. He has aided his grandfather in helping him find Snow White and Prince Charming, he has managed to help Regina try to better herself, he helped Jefferson reunite with Grace, is taking care of his own horse, and had to face a confrontation with Daniel that almost killed him. 🙂
That is a lot for a 11 year old. Plus, in many ways, he has always been mature for his age. And both Regina and Prince Charming gave Henry some more choices and a bit more independence–in a healthy way.

That’s a good point!
