Four sneak peeks already?! And here I thought Christmas was meant to be over. 😉
You know that Hook is gonna be the one to fill in the blanks in Rumple’s story. I get that he didn’t wanna tell his girlfriend that he killed his wife with his bare hands, coz then she may finally admit that yeah, actually, maybe he IS a monster after all, but, dude, take the chance and tell her and trust that she loves you enough to not disown you for it, coz it’ll just be worse when she finds out you lied by omission. Belle’s going to kill the demon? Get it girl! 😀 I couldn’t hear the name of the demon though; does anyone know what’s called? Is it even a demon or is it just a monster or large animal?
It was mentioned in the ep synopsis:
Belle meets Mulan as the two set out to slay a fearsome beast called the Yaoguai, who has been ravaging the land.

WOW! Go Belle! 😀
I love THIS version of Belle. I liked her before this, but it’s fun to see her be so brave and proactive. This episode looks amazing.
Like others have said, I hope Mr. Gold tells Belle about Milha’s demise before Hook can. There’s nothing that can make Belle feel better about what happened, but at least it would softent the blow.
I agree that Belle needs to know the truth about Milah, but I think it would be Emma who would tell her the truth. She may not know the full story but she knows that Rumple took his hand and killed his love. There was a reason in 2×06 that Emma found out about Milah, and it wasn’t just so she could form a connection with Hook.
And I think it would cause more drama for Rumple and Belle, which is what the writers may be aiming for.It shows in the promo that Belle takes control in killling the beast, so maybe in SB she takes control and stops Rumple from killing Hook and from reverting back into a monster.
I like this version of Belle too, it got a bit boring with Belle always being the damsel in distress.January 9, 2013 at 4:15 am #167618maiqu20ParticipantI think that’s Hook’s revenge it’s not hurting Belle it’s telling Belle what Rumple did..and while I’m no Milah fan I hate when people keep saying Killian took her..She went willingly.. and Rumple murdered her for it then took Killian’s hand.. It’s not going to work out for Rumbelle atm drama is coming their way..
Snow’s eulogy killed me my poor bbs I just want to hug Henry and Geppetto most of all

Woop woop! Destroy that beast Belle!
Now that I think about it, this is the third “beast” Belle has encountered. First it was Rumpel, then it was Red and now it’s this monster. Girlfriend knows how to attract some real weirdoes. 😆
lol, that’s so true. 😆 I also agree with everyone that Rumple needs to tell Belle pronto about what really happened to Milah before Hook does. At least if Rumple does, she’ll be upset, but I think she can eventually forgive him. If Hook does it, I don’t know if she could be able to forgive Rumple at least not as quickly as she could if he just tells her the truth.
I can’t believe that we got four sneak peeks in one day, and it’s Tuesday! (I usually try not to watch them, but since they were posted so early, I knew I wouldn’t be able to hold out until Sunday. )
but how would you do that? haha….uh…hey belle. I killed my wife…and yeah…

One thing though – GOLD. Why wouldn’t he want to report ‘the pirate’ to the Sheriff? This is Captain Hook we’re talking about and if he’s here, Cora is about somewhere too! Gold not revealing that is actually helping Cora! He could’ve at least eliminate this element of surprise for Emma and give her some advantage, as well as make people more aware of things going on around and people missing! Also, it would make the Charmings realize it might have not been Regina to commit the crime(s) and try to bring her back for help!
Now he’s going to leave to find his son and Belle is staying in SB with CORA around? How is this logical????
Also, he obviously didn’t eliminate Hook entirely, if he reported him to Emma, she would surely be able to deal with him, Gold has seen her powers and many victories, plus “good always wins”. So what’s stopping you, Rumple?January 9, 2013 at 9:51 am #167641PriceofMagicParticipant@EvilQueen wrote:

So what’s stopping you, Rumple?Rumple has always had to deal with his problems himself. Before he became the dark one, he was known as the village coward and probably had no friends to turn to. When he became the dark one, everyone was afraid of him so he was alone. Those that he did associate with such as Regina were not the type of people you’d want to see you in a vulnerable state. Rumple was, and to an extent still is, a very private person. He’s learning to open up to Belle but centuries of keeping emotions and feelings to himself from other people is a hard habit to break. Also, how many times has Rumple used someone’s feelings and emotions against them in order to manipulate them? The fact that Rumple openly admitted that he took Hook’s hand because Hook took his wife shows that he is opening up to Belle but admitting that he killed Milah isn’t something taht can just be dropped into general conversation.
Belle has never seen Rumple in a vulnerable state. She knows that the persona he puts on when making deals is just an act but she has never seen him at his lowest and Rumple doesn’t want her to see him like that. Before he became the dark one, Rumple saw himself as weak and powerless. Milah only reinforced that belief in him. Before he became the dark one, Rumple was at his most vulnerable and Milah told him that she never loved him. Rumple may think that asking for help is weak and may fear, however irrational, that Belle may reject him if she sees him as weak.
When Rumple is telling Belle about taking Hook’s hand, the way he says it is very unemotional. It’s more of a “He did this so I did that” rather than admitting how much losing Milah hurt him. Rumple doesn’t want Belle to see him vulnerable.
Hook also reminds Rumple of the time when he was powerless, when he couldn’t stand up to Hook.

It was always Cora they were talking about.
January 9, 2013 at 12:13 pm #167650bellaroseParticipantBelle has tracking skills huh? that’s cool! And Mulan thinks her instincts are good enough to fight a beast on her own.
While I do agree that Rumpelstiltskin should have told her about ripping out his wifes heart, when exactly would be a good time for that without creeping her out. First date?, Wedding? better yet Honeymoon…..So I should probibly tell you I killed my first wife!
Snow’s speech for Archie was sweet!, sad moment.
And the Dwarfs are homesick! awwwww!
