They’ve said before that Henry existed in a kind of a daze up until MM gave him that book (who gave it to her?! ARG!). So it’s not the same day over and over, but maybe same moments over and over.
Slurpeez: I don’t know if he’s flying by the seat of his pants, because they’ve said before that Henry was unaware of how time was frozen or how things never changed because of the Curse, but when MM gave him the book that’s when his eyes finally opened and he began to see what was going on. I think this is one of those things that is only going to become clear once we see the episode.

It’s not the same day over and over, but rather moments get repeated over and over. So Snow will always give that bird house speech and certain moments. But it doesn’t always play out the exact same way. Regina doesn’t always come and take Snow away to see David in the coma. With Groundhog’s Day things do change because the main character is aware of what’s going on and tries to affect changes. He can’t stop the day from repeating, but he can make each iteration of that day different.

Yes. So each year in MM’s class, she repeated the same lesson plan, because she was teaching the same school grade over and over for 28 years in a row. So as part of that, the birdhouse lesson happened multiple times, though not always in a completely identical way.

I like it. But how does it explain Ashley. I feel like Ashley is the big “BUT” here. She’s 9 months pregnant for an entire year and unless the curse really makes them completely unaware of that, Ashley needs to be explained.

I know that most things that Snow does and says in season 1 are contrary to that, but watching her face in that moment, I can’t help but have those thoughts in that moment… until reality comes raging back. ahh. 😥 ❓ ❓ 😕 ❓ 😡

I think the curse was imperfect. The fact that Snow as MM still said things like “they will always find you” to me means that even if they can’t remember their lives, bits and pieces of it sneak in. Hence why Snow reading to Charming is what caused him to wake up.
