Best sneak peek so far – my first impression was that Tamara helped Hook find Rumple in Manhattan. How else did he know where specifically to look?
Good point! While I thought Hook’s revenge was self-motivated, maybe Tamara did point him in the right direction of Neal’s apartment.
Hook needs to give up on killing Rumple because GOAT are a much more dangerous threat. The problem with Hook is that there is no one telling him to be a better man. Unless Emma wants to take that on. 🙂
Yes, I predict a Hook-Emma alliance happening sooner rather than later, and that Hook will betray GOAT. While any relationship may not be reciprocated romantically from Emma’s end, she at least knows to trust him now, after she detected he was speaking truthfully that he would have helped her get home if she hadn’t left him in the giant’s castle. And I think Hook will trust Emma over GOAT after Emma saved his life from a vengeful Mr. Gold.

I wonder if Gold let himself get drunk just to deal with it…they’re both kinda weavy there, even if she is giggling. And I’m going to guess this is the same night as end of 219 but it’s hard to tell.
Gold did sorta seem to be stumbling around.

I think it’s still the same night. Everyone is in the same clothes.

I don’t think it’s possible now (Belle) without TLK which he needs Lacey to accomplish. So the closer they get, the closer we are to that happening.
That makes me feel better. *have a cookie*
I will gratefully accept that cookie! Also, the more they have to struggle, the stronger their relationship will become, and the more “front and center” they will be in the storytelling.
April 25, 2013 at 3:56 pm #188658HappyEndingsSpectatorThe problem isn’t David wanting to neutralize her threat. It’s that he thinks giving her those particular options as a choice is going to work instead of just inciting her. I’d be more down with him just planning to leave SB with everyone and not telling her.
The problem with this is Regina will find a way to get back to FL if left behind, what is that saying keep your enemies closer 🙂

But it couldn’t have just been happenstance. Do they know each other? Have they met before? Do they just know of each other!? GAH! I want Tamara answers so bad.

Knocking her out and sticking her in Rumple’s cell before she wakes works too. It’s just giving her two bad choices and thinking she won’t go into Evil Queen mode is not well thought out. That’s the part that I keep having trouble with. David just isn’t the brightest bulb in the box, imo.

That’s what keeps us guessing; so many questions and so few answers! Head-desk, again! My own take is that Tamara first identified Hook (he’s pretty hard to miss, right) and then tipped him off. She might have known about his history with Rumplestiltskin from hearing rather unusual fairytale stories, either from her parents or elsewhere, seen his hook, and put two-and-two together. She then approached him with the address of Neal’s apartment and told him Rumple would be there. She then later “found” him in the storage room, tied him up, and brought him to SB in the back of a truck.

Tamara says, when she and Greg are opening the truck, that “from what she knows of him,” Hook will help them. I think there may be a previous connection. Or she may just be referring to pirates in general. Also his comment, “Now look who’s up to speed” when she talks about the Dark One, implies that he had a conversation with her when she didn’t know as much.

I agree with you RG, there is no way that Tamara knew Hook before or guided him to Gold, that was another big pothole with Hook. Like how did Hook steal the last bean from the giant and a few other missing parts in episodes.
As for Dave, yea he isn’t the brightest person is he losing the Hat etc. but options are kind of limited here I believe.

What are the options?
1) Leave Regina behind in SB — She’d find a way back to FTL and Snow has already said no to this one. She’s too good hearted and won’t leave Regina behind.2) Take Regina to FTL and lock her in Rumple’s cell — honestly, this seems like the best course of action. While Snow and Charming may be protected if they return to FTL because of the charm Rumple put on them, Emma is probably not. Locking Regina up makes sense. Except, I don’t think David is taking into account that she’d probably manage to escape somehow.
3) Kill her — The Charmings won’t do that.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"April 25, 2013 at 4:37 pm #188682beastwhispererParticipantLike I said. My problem isn’t with David’s options. There aren’t lots of great answers for how to deal with Regina. I know his choices kinda suck. It’s the fact that he wants to basically TELL Regina, “Here’s your choices, a rock and a hard place.” He’s giving her a choice of two prisons. Literally. And either choice plays into her fear of having her “son” taken away from her. When you back any human into a desperate situation, they do dangerous and crazy things to get out of that situation. No matter what the eventual outcome is, this is just not a smart way of dealing with anyone.
If somebody told Rumple, “You can either spend your life in prison in the EF, where Bae can visit you when we let him, or in prison in SB alone forever,” they shouldn’t be too surprised if he turns them into a pig, or a snail, or beats them with his cane.
