GREAT CLIPS!!!
I agree Midnight Dreary. The scene in the promo with Regina in jail could be seen as many different things. It could be Rumpel casting a curse on her, it could be someone releasing her, or it could be something else entirely. Hard to tell right now.
But the thing that surprised me the most is that Snow and Charming are still choosing to work with Mr. Gold. I know they made a few deals with him in Fairytale land, but I thought that was a one time thing. Once again Midnight Dreary, I agree with you. I think Snow and Charming are just choosing to go with the lesser of two evils. They don’t have anyone on their side powerful enough to combat Regina, so they chose to ally themselves with Rumpel instead. I can’t help but think that Rumpel planned that. In Fairytale land, he made a point of fostering a love/hate relationship with both Snow and Charming. They knew he was evil and yet they kept making deals with him and asking him for help. Even Emma repeated this same behavior in Storybrooke. Strange…
And I loved the clip with Belle and Rumpel. My shipper heart was dancing after I watched that scene.

I noticed in one of the clips Charming and Snow said something about going to talk to “Gold.” I’m surprised they didn’t call him Rumple??? Belle remembers him and called him Rumpelstiltskin, so I assume they would remember him too, but maybe they don’t. Did anyone else notice that? What do you think?

Good point! Hope he’s got some snide comment about the tables having turned.
I’m also curious to hear Mr. Gold’s explanation for why he brought magic into Storybrooke. I want to say it’s for Baelfire, but there’s a part of me that thinks it may be for something else.
I need that explanation, need to know his reasoning, coz I just wanted to slap him when he did it.

I’ve been wondering for ages if they’d use SB names or FTL names, and I guess this answers that, (Emma already knows that Mr Gold is Rumple, so there’s no reason the rest of them wouldn’t too). I’d mainly been wondering about it in regards to how it’d affect Dr Whale’s scenes. If they were gonna be using FTL names, his ID would likely be given away in the first ep, considering he seems to play a significant role in it. Speaking of which, I think I heard that angry mob of his approaching at the end of that clip with the Charmings.

I think regarding their names, it’ll be a bit of both FTL & SB until they managed to merge their old/FTL selves, with their SB selves. I mean they do have 28years of calling each other by different names & it makes sense- at least to begin with anyway- that they call most people /everyone by their SB names. After all many of them probably only know each other from being in SB since the curse was meant to take away everyone’s happy ever afters.
wow! That is very generous from abc, those clips are great!
A few things worth noticing:
– the camera work in the scene where whale confronts Regina seems different then usual… The editing too. (does anyone else think so?)
– out of the long tradition of OUAT characters being imprisoned, I think this is regina’s first time.
– when regina is behind bars and Rumpel shows up, he has that “let’s make a deal” smirk on his face.
– how weird is it that Snow decides to bring up a somewhat sensitive topic with emma, in front of everybody else, taking quite a few of the townspeople as witnesses.
– Robert Carlyle seems to be dying his hair now (no more gray hair). maybe to smooth the age difference between him and Emily.

That’s a great point about Emma already knowing Gold’s identity and also about the Dr. Whale scenes.

I hadn’t thought about the fact that some people would only know each other from SB, that is a good point.
Take a look at this new promo and tell me if around 1:19 you see Charming coming into Regina’s house with his sword and she is holding what looks like Cora’s “book” from the promo pic they released.
