Hm, the one who “rules the night” keeps “saving the day.” Kind of funny. I really do want there to be more to BF, but at the moment, I don’t think it is going to happen.

I also sort of feel like the actress isn’t “lead” material. I thought she did a fantastic job in her scenes but I’m not feeling that “monopolize the screen” sort of presence that a Big Bad ought to have, if she is revealed as such. Maybe I’m the only one who thinks that, and maybe it is just her silly costume and the ultra-convenient plot hole hopping she does that is blinding me to this character being able to pull off being revealed as a really evil master mind.

As long as it doesn’t go too Scooby Doo, I suppose I could live with it. “Oh, the evil source of everything was really you all along Blue Fairy.” “Yes, and I would have gotten away with it, if it weren’t for you pesky kids!” as she glares at Pinocchio and Henry. Ok, I know they’d write it better than that.

Now I think I’m on board the “Morraine was just repeating rumors that exaggerated BF’s capabilities.” train.

I agree. The window for the BF to be the truly big bad is closing. If she’s not revealed to be more than what she seems by the end of S3, then we were all nuts to begin with. If they do try to suddenly make her the big bad by S4 then it’s a total Scooby Doo.

Agreed. I’ve come to terms with the fact that all of the BigBadBlueFairy speculation was for naught. *sigh*

Someone asked Adam if we will be seeing more of the BF, his response was “We love Blue!” Criptic, maybe. I think there is more to meet the eye. If you remeber on LOST Richard was a “Minor character” so we thought…but it turned out he had a much larger role in the canon of the story.

I never truly liked the Blue Fairy, I just feel like most of you that she’s too sneaky, and knows a lot more than she lets on, and I’ve got a hunch it was her who gave Mary Margret that blasted fairytale book! Plus, if she’s supposed to be so helpful to children, why in the world did she not help Regina when she was being physically and emotionally abused????

Many people have brought up Blue and Regina as a little girl and the answer is simple, even if no one likes it:

in order for Blue to interfere, you have to wish for it. Thus far, we’ve never seen Regina wish to be free of Cora.

Plus, since we’ve seen from other characters, not everyone knows about the Blue Fairy’s existence. Regina may not have known about her and that’s why she never made a wish.

Something I was theorizing lately about the Blue Fairy based on her “shady” actions:
What if she doesn’t have her heart?
Her behavior is actually very strict, unemotional and the last time someone checked for her heartbeat, there wasn’t one.
But then the big question would be why? Why would she haven’t a heart?
Probably because someone broke it or – adding the “Blue Fairy is also the Black Fairy”-theory to it – because her heart is the darkest heart of all and she would turn into the Black Fairy if her heart would beat inside her.
I mean we’ve already saw a darkened hearts before, but we haven’t seen a completely darkened heart yet and I would at least expect to se one sometime in the future.

Yeah, I think I’ve pretty much accepted that Blue is nothing more than a convenient plot this device at this point.  She pops up when she is needed and nothing more.  It would be cool if she banished the Black Fairy but not likely at this point.  I do love how Keegan’s accepted that she is seen as an Evil Fairy on twitter.
