Snow and Herc were good friends (and, um, more?) in the days of old. Did you buy their friendship? Their romance? Did you enjoy Herc teaching Snow how to fight? Anything you did’t like?

But I think he should’ve trained her just a little bit more before letting her go toe to toe with those bandits because the only reason they really left was probably because of their fear for Hercules. Had Hercules not been there, I don’t think it would’ve ended so well for Snow White. So she probably should’ve gotten just a few more lessons.

I understand, and acknowledge that young teenagers can have crushes and even significant relationships but most of those latter ones are borne out of similar, long lasting life experiences. There is usually a significant emotional link between the two–Gus and Hazel have cancer (TFIOS); Henry and Violet lost a parent, and so on and so forth. In the flashback, there is a serious inequality; Hercules has all the power and knowledge and bravery; Snow needs all the power, knowledge and bravery and only her new friend (who happens to be “hawt” as the kids say) can provide this to her.
There’s nothing linking them besides the fact that Snow was saved by this guy who in turn taught her a lesson. Eh. It’s…usually more complicated than that. A relationship—even one as startlingly brief as this one–built only on the girl being swept off her feet by the guy is never going to be well sold in my eyes.

I actually didn’t like the idea that he trained her. I think having Merida or Robin do it makes more sense because they are actually connected to the bow and arrow. Not Hercules.

Tonight was a lost opportunity for Hercules and Snow to bond while swapping wicked stepmother stories. Young Snow must suspect by now that there’s something not quite right about Regina, and it seems pointless to abandon the fully Disnified version of Hercules’ origin story if things are going to stay sweet and happy.

She’s a tween girl who was just rescued by a hunk of spunk demi-god with bulging biceps, it probably would have felt like something was missing if she hadn’t had a moment of, “Well hullo thar.” But the rest of their scenes they just felt like friends to me, so the kiss was kind of outta nowhere and gratuitious and unecessary.

It felt like a crush. Hunky attractive demi God comes along, pays attention and helps an insecure, not at all confident Snow White…I think teen crush was very realistic there and to say you aren’t buying it seems a little nitpicky I think.

I didn’t even see it. Sure it wasn’t a lens flair?
