Tonight Snow and Prince Charming took on the mythical beast known as Medusa.
Was Snow justified in going after this beast? Does anyone else think her plan was a little half baked?
And does this make Snow… Perseus?

The plan was a bit wonky but Snow was in an emotional state.
Love that they took Perseus out of the equation and made it Snow. 🙂

So Medusa is a legend (okay, got that) and within the legend it tells you how she is defeated (okay) but… She’s not defeated and the legend is wrong? O.o then who the hades lived to tell a wrong tale? That was very half baked to me >> I didn’t like the fact that Snow took the role of Perseus. That pushes my belief too far. It they had said the legend of Medusa and Perseus then I would be okay. Snow could have just been fighting a DIFFERENT gorgon with the knowledge of the legend. But ehhh.. The Medusa monster was great. Was hoping to hear her speak :/ and also as another nitpick. Wasn’t Perseus taking Medusa’s head so he could kill his stepfather? Snow was doing it so she could kill her stepmother >_< wow... Who knew Snow White was Perseus..

Snow didn’t know how to defeat the Medusa, she just thought she could cut off its head and ship it to Regina. So there is no Perseus, that we can tell. But there were the elements of the story–including using a shield to defeat the Medusa. And Snow takes the place of Perseus. But then how did WE ge the story passed down to us as Persues’s defeat of Medusa?
I hope they tackle that somday.

As do I, unless there like primal forces or something like in Percy Jackson where they can be slain but can come back after a certain amount of time. *scratches head and ponders*  The worlds have to be connected in more than one way. I have a theory that’s rather like with Carl Jung and Joseph Campbell’s thoughts of how there’s a collective ‘cauldron’ if you will in the human collective consciences and that Stories and elements, symbols etc echo through all sorts of things. Permeates  like water if you will throughout and in various cultures and places  even when their separated from each other by long distances. But they still have things in common or connections they or we don’t know about.
