That’s all I can put it down to as well. I do they address it tho- its weird having those 2 not calling each other by their ‘actual’ names- everyone else is ok, just not the Charmings lol 😉

Did anyone else watch the recap/special that they aired just before the season premier? In that, they always referred to Charming as “James.” So that would be my guess for his name, even thought it was also his twin brother’s name. Or maybe it got changed to “James” after he started pretending to be his brother.
