A horrible thought – what if Snow White decides the only way to live, but without the guilt of Cora’s death, is by crossing the town line? Not the choice brave Snow White would make, but this is a Snow White with a blackening heart and some serious guilt.

So, the last scene of season two is David and Emma driving up to Mary Margaret standing at the town line, they think they’ve caught her in time, but Mary Margaret has a blank look on her face, as her memory has been reset to day one of the curse and she has no memory of Emma, or David (since he was a John Doe in the hospital). 😥

My only thought is, would they do this to her character so soon after they had Belle lose her memory?

That’s an interesting scenario. I think they are less likely to try it out given Belle, but then again, Belle didn’t choose to lose her memories. Still, I think they want to play out Snow forging a new identity for herself since she can no longer see herself as the “purest heart”.

Snow White must be suffering some major despression if she’s willing to die and leave behind her Prince Charming, Emma, and Henry. I could actually see her considering walking across the town line, but then she is distracted and has second thoughts. Maybe Charming comes to her aid. Or maybe as the promo suggests, she comes upon a trailer in the woods, and in it finds wooden August. Talk about a distraction! They end up chatting about making wrong decisions, but both realize they can't just run away from life and strike up a friendship. Snow White discovers Pinocchio went through the wardrobe instead of her, but even then, I think she'd forgive him, especially now that she isn't so faultless herself.

I think it would be different enough of a situation to Belle that they could have Snow willingly give up her memories. But I think before season’s end they’ll find a way to bring back Belle’s, and Sneezy’s memories, and if so, there wouldn’t be so much tension surrounding Snow doing this, if they already knew how to fix her.
