Snow's heart

If this is a repeat of another discussion, please forgive me.  I spent a half an hour looking to see if this has been discussed or not and gave up.

1)   It was stated that only those pure of heart can go thru the  portal.  If Snow had a dark spot in heart, how was she able to go thru the portal to Glenda?

2) We know that Regina tore Snow’s heart and then decided to put it back, because Snow killed Cora which put a dark spot in Snow’s heart.

Fast forward:  Regina tears Snow’s heart in half to put in Charming whose heart was sacrificed by Snow to enact the curse.

So… who has the dark spot? Snow? Charming? both?

3) If half the heart has the dark spot, will it be a larger percent of the remaining half heart?  If so, does whoever gets that half will have to battle darker forces than Snow has had to so far?

Pretty sure Adam and Eddy have said that the dark spot cleared up and it no longer exists on Snow’s heart at the time of going through Glenda’s door nor at the time of the split with Charming.

I hope the dark spot is still there because otherwise Snow has just got a get out of jail free card for doing nothing other than crying over Cora which seems like a lame way to get rid of it. Speaking of which, when Snow cast the dark curse the second time, shouldn’t she have gotten a hole in her heart that can never be filled? And if she did, when she split her heart with Charming, who got the hole?

I’ll have to look into it, but I’m fairly certain they said it was erased by deciding to go back to the EF (before they got taken to NL) and then all the good Snow’s done since. And the whole in the heart was always Regina’s personal punishment. Snow…escaped that one.

Well….Miss Goody Two Shoes can get away with whatever she wants…she never had to pay a price. The Black Spot was only in her heart for a week, she didn’t do anything major to get rid of it. Even managed to con the dark curse itself, because she’s still got Charming. Snow White can have her cake and eat it too….sickening.

I thought they said in an interview that we would see the consequences of sharing a heart and that Snow’s dark spot would be mentioned again…. didn’t they?

If Snow’s dark spot did get erased just because she decided she would live with hubby in a castle instead of in Storybrooke, that is really quite crap. Even in Neverland, Snow didn’t do anything that would make you think “surely that must erase the dark spot”. Again deciding to live with hubby in a jungle rather than in Storybrooke isn’t good enough to erase a past wrong and “all the good” Snow’s done since isn’t really noteworthy because Snow hasn’t really done anything in season 3.
