Well, I’m kind of thinking that we might not see much if Pinocchio and Gepetto anymore as their storyline has, largely and apart from the fact that they’re still in the real world, wrapped up. They’ve found each other and get a fresh start. What else is there to tell now?

If there is a timeskip or Pinocchio rapidly ages again, we would then see August fully grown again. Perhaps for at least the series finale. Of course, August wouldn’t have memories of his past life and I’m sure there would be some differences in personality.

That would just be to please fans who want to see the actor. They have done too much of that already. I think it would have been good if somehow Rumpel had been in the scene, seeing this was exactly what he wanted for Bae… which is of course weird seeing Bae has a son.

Well as far as gepetto and pinocchio go, the young lad could always get himself into a world of trouble, possibly pulling Henry in with him. Idk. I think they can do alot with the fact that he’s a child again. But I suppose this has more to do with August not being around anymore. Personally I think it’s only temporary and even then, I think we still have a lot of flashbacks we need to see of him. Like how does he know Bae, what does he know about Henry’s book, whats the significance of his typewriter, why did Regina say he looked familiar, etc. All hope is not lost.

Young Pinocchio isn’t going to get himself into trouble, not now he has Gepetto to help guide him. August will still appear in flashbacks and Gepetto may appear around town from time to time but their story is now done in the same way Hansel and Gretel’s story is done and Cinderella’s story is done. They all got their happy ending.

I just listened to the official ABC podcast with Adam and Eddy, who clarified Pinocchio came close to death, but he didn’t die. They felt that August’s happy ending would be a second chance to be a little boy and to grow up with his father. It’s also Geppetto’s happy ending, since he also gets a second chance to be a father to his adoptive son. The good news is that they strongly hinted Eion Bailey could reprise the role of August in real-world flashbacks. I have a feeling that August was involved in writing the book and that he might’ve brought baby Henry to SB.

I agree wholeheartedly with the second part. I think he delivered baby Henry to SB and Blue (who had no idea who he was) and then Blue turned the baby over to Mr. Gold.
The first part I’m still not sure on.

Eion Bailey I think will be back, no fears.

yea i understand that they wanted a happy ending with geppetto and all but still wanted to see august as a fully grown man instead of just a little kid again. I was hoping that he would turn into a regular person again when the blue fairy turned him back. i also wanted to see the reunion with him neal and emma. I wa really looking forward to that.
but anyways . . . im done with my rant
