Oh, and I agree on the note of this episode sinking SwanHook. Not for the VIEWERS mind you, but for the canon of the show. Maybe Hook was semi-sorta into Emma, but that was stopped when she betrayed him and left him up with a giant. Now she’s on his list – not as high up as Rumpel, of course, but she’s on it. It was the perfect set-up for him going straight back to Cora and joining her season 2 villain brigade.
If there’s something I’ve learned from seeing how they handle relationships on this show is that they don’t introduce an idea unless they intend for it to go somewhere. This thing between Hook and Emma will come up again this was just the start.

Steliokontos. I’m still with you 100%!!! The fact that Emma left him with the giant will only make him want her more. He will not see it as a “betrayal”. He will see it as her not trusting him yet, and he’ll make that his mission: to gain her trust. Because he likes her. He can tell she’s special. The thing at the giant’s is just a minor setback to him.
Btw, your gif makes me swoon 😆 CaptainSwan all the way!!!

Thanks it’s hard ot find support with all the love for SwanFire and SwanTheif around here, and I think he’ll come up for her against Cora, trust for Emma is a difficult thing but I think Hook understands that. I see him winning her over by doing something very pivotal.
Don’t know if you’ve my other pics in my CaptainSwan thread but check them out

November 8, 2012 at 2:35 am #159987tabsicleParticipantI think that Emma and Hook will end up together in Storybrooke. When she does get back, I’m thinking she’ll find Neal, and she’ll be rather upset with him. Also I’m thinking that she’ll find August/Pinocchio and she’s REALLY going to be upset with him. She’s emotional and confused and who better to comfort her than the ever so gorgeous Hook, who she’s spent SO much personal time with.
Time to hide your crazy, and start acting like a lady.

The most important thing is that Hook gets her, she didn’t have to open up to him for Hook to understand her.
November 8, 2012 at 7:49 am #159994becParticipantI’m thinking that what Emma does with his scraf will tell us how she really feels – if she throws it away or keeps it. Because Hook doesn’t take it back from her because he doesn’t have it in the fliming shots when he is in Storybrooke.
Its a small thing, and this probably sounds stupid, but if she really cared about him i’m sure she’ll keep it like she kept Neal’s chain.November 8, 2012 at 8:04 am #159996Killian JonesParticipant@bec wrote:

Not sure if she’ll keep the scarf as a keepsake that would pretty nice.

Yes, that sounds about right. Even though Emma double-crossed Hook, so did Snow White dupe Prince Charming in “Snow Falls” and we know how that story ended up. I think the writers are setting the stage for a potential romantic interlude later in the season. It could just end up being one-sided though, since I think Emma has built layers of protection to keep from getting hurt. Hook will have to really do something extraordinary and selfless for Emma’s sake (or for Henry’s) for him to earn her real trust and admiration.
However, this will be complicated if/when we see “Neal” come to SB. I think the fact that Emma kept the swan keychain as a necklace shows how much Emma really loved him. After all, he was her first and only love, so far, and the father of her child. Just because she got burned and doesn’t want Henry to know about him doesn’t mean she didn’t really care. If anything, it shows just how much she cared about “Neal” and how much he hurt her. If/when Emma meets “Neal” again and finds out the reason he left (b/c of August and her destiny) it may allow her to forgive him and for them to be reconciled (after a lot of soul-searching and couple’s therapy with Archie).

November 9, 2012 at 11:26 pm #160138Killian JonesParticipant^^^^^^^ Love triangles are the greatest which is why I’m hoping for one when Neal comes back. I just think it would be more interesting if it was Emma & Hook as oppose to Emma with Neal. I see a lot of parrelles between how Emma’s parents met an how Emma’s starting off with Hook. I really hoping Hook is very instrumental in getting Emma & Snow back to Storybrooke and that’s how he begins to win her over.
