WR, everyone is just afraid that they owe you more cookies than they can afford but one thing I don’t get… Cora HAD her heart before she met Rumpel, so why did she give up her daughter?
Oh yes MM! I’m still waiting on my cookies for a few users whose name I shall not call! 😛 But they’re gonna have to pay sooner or later!
but one thing I don’t get… Cora HAD her heart before she met Rumpel, so why did she give up her daughter?
I don’t think Zelena has the whole truth because I don’t think Cora gave her up. I suspect we’re about to see a baby transported to Oz (tornado?)
Never thought of that RG! Brilliant! And once she learns the truth…she may feel remorse for what she’s done…which could lead to WickedSisters repairing their sisterhood they were cheated out of. But who would steal Cora’s baby….The Wicked Witch of the East??????

March 19, 2014 at 9:00 pm #254292lorem ipsumParticipantWell, I did say knee jerk reaction. I hadn’t read the interviews here or anywhere else. Nor did I see the scene shots of Cora, exec. Thank you for the clarification. I have 2 questions:
1. Does anyone have a theory as to how Zelena found out about Cora and Regina?
2. I thought the door leading out of the crypt and up the stairs was locked by blood magic not the door leading into the crypt, (where Regina and Robin came through). Can someone clarify this for me?
Thank you!

But I did I have another thought. What if Zelena is the midwife who helped Cora give birth?
March 20, 2014 at 3:29 am #254321PheeParticipantBut never mind…
We’ll just agree to disagree.
but one thing I don’t get… Cora HAD her heart before she met Rumpel, so why did she give up her daughter?
Cora was living in poverty. Her father was probably drinking away what little money they did have, and so they probably had barely enough to eat to keep themselves alive, let alone look after a baby. I suspect that Cora gave Zelena up to give her a better chance in life, or perhaps someone offered to buy the baby, and Cora was so desperate for money to be able to survive that she felt she had no choice. Having given up her first daughter due to poverty is what fueled Cora to have such a strangle hold on Regina and make sure she was rich. She wasn’t gonna lose another one too.

The bigger question for me… how did Cora’s body get back to the EF? She died in our world. Regina buried her in her vault/family mausoleum in Storybrooke, didn’t she? So… it poofed back to EF along with them? Complete with a blood magic doorlock?!

I think perhaps that’s just an empty crypt in FTL? Regina thought Cora was in there, she didn’t know she was still alive until later in SB, so she’d have sealed the crypt with blood magic before she left FTL, thinking Cora was still in there.
March 23, 2014 at 9:19 am #254822RumplesGirlKeymasterFor those wondering if WickedSisters is real or not, Lana Parrilla gave an interview. But fair warning, it contains spoilers for the rest of the season so read at your own discretion : TVGuide Interview With Lana
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"March 23, 2014 at 10:27 am #254825KebParticipantIf Zelena is young enough to be Regina’s sister, she’s not old enough to have been a midwife for Cora…

March 23, 2014 at 11:00 am #254828CindersParticipantSuch an interesting dynamic between these two sisters.
It will be interesting to learn why, when, and how Cora sent her to Oz. or, did someone else take her from Cora? was she a baby, or a young girl? Was she hidden away in Oz to hide her from Rumple, who wanted Cora’s firstborn daughter? Was she sent away because Cora chose power over her baby? Was Zelena a baby who didn’t feel the heartbreak of being sent away, or was she a sad confused scared young girl?
Rumple trained Zelena in magic. Was Cora there as her daughter was being trained? How did Zelena know that Regina was also trained by Rumple?
So many questions. Without answers, it’s hard to feel empathy towards Zelena. I hope we learn more of her story tonight.
March 23, 2014 at 11:07 am #254830KebParticipantWe’ve only seen a few moments of Zelena so far and we have many weeks of Oz stuff ahead of us…so we’ve got plenty to look forward to. They even made me feel for Cora in the end.
