A lot of us suspected that August would revert back into young Pinocchio by the end of this episode, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. Emma even made a comment about how she was glad the adult August was back, and that August felt the same. I gotta say, they did a really good job of hiding him when they filmed these episodes, which was easy since all of his scenes this Season so far have been indoors. I’m actually hoping he really does stay an adult this time around, as I was reminded how much I missed his chemistry with the cast back in Season 1. He doesn’t even have to be a regular to keep him as an adult. Just make him a recurring guest star the same way they do with Marco. The one concern I could see is if this could be a negative for Marco, since this robs him of his 2nd chance to raise Pinocchio. At the same time, though, I could see Marco still just loving to have his son all the same, whether he’s a kid or not.
[adrotate group="5"]On the plus side for Marco and August — and I don’t know how old Marco is supposed to be, but he’s not a young man — he gets to have a relationship with his adult son (very sad when that doesn’t happen).

I’m glad August is back. Although, I was hoping to hear him have more in-depth conversations with Emma and Henry.

No he’ll return to boy form once Adult August has given all the information required.
They’ll revert him back either maliciously (Rumple) or when he asks (Regina or Blue) if only for the simple answer: if they don’t, they will be asked in every single interview until the end of the show “will we see August again?”
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"I don’t expect him to hang around and be an actual part of the story, (because God forbid they develop an ongoing friendship for Emma or Henry), but I hope that when they shuffle him off back to Marco that he stays an adult. He’s with the good guys now, and they have no reason to make him revert if he doesn’t want to, and I’d think that he wouldn’t want to.
If August becomes a threat to Gold, Gold will revert him back to the child. Regina or Blue may also be capable of doing it if August requests it.
Marco will accept his son in either form, though, just as he always did.
