Honestly, when she jumped through that portal to go back to SB, I felt a weight lift off me. It’s been rough to watch Emma for the last few seasons, and now I don’t have to dread anymore what dumb thing they gonna have her say or do or endure next, so I’m relieved that she’s off the show.
She really contributed nothing to this ep. I couldn’t even get into the moments of her and Henry because I was so distracted by the lack of explanation for their age difference. Have they seen each other at all since he left SB? If yes then it should have been mentioned that they’ve stayed in touch. If not, if they haven’t seen each other in YEARS, then there just wasn’t enough emotion involved in their brief meeting in this ep.
Her appearance was just half baked and empty. But I’m not gonna dwell on it, because I can now officially move on from Emma Swan.

There was no need for Emma to be seen at all for this episode. I thought she would have a far more Epic and intricate ending but nope. It was just tired.
so long Emma Swan enjoy your happy happy ending with your husband and new family.

While Emma Swan also used to be one of my favorite characters, the real Emma hasn’t existed for several seasons. Sadly, the way it ended didn’t do Emma’s character justice at all. I hope Jennifer Morrison finds happiness and creative fulfillment elsewhere.

Agreed. I’ve been missing Emma Swan for about 3 years now so this final goodbye doesn’t amount to much for me. I wish JMo the best though. I hope she finds another project she loves.
